View Full Version : My thoughts... [on the worst series I have ever watched]

The problems started on Launch. A dire cast...quite possibly one of the worst ever. And then the problems continued...

First few evictions - laughable. I warned people on this forum that evicting people like Rachael, Govan, Shabby [even though she walked] and hell, even Sunshine [who I found really annoying], would come back to bite people in the arse. And look what has happened? They all left, and surprise, surprise, it got duller, and duller and duller and duller...

John James, love him or hate him saved a good few weeks of this show. Without him it literally would've been some people sitting in a house chatting irrelevant small talk. And then Sam came in - and without a doubt saved this dire series.

But the housemates weren't just the problem, in terms of production this year it has been absolutely abbhorent. Silly gimmicks [Jedward, housemates leaving the house, people coming in], next to no alcohol, intervening during arguments, the stupid graphics/music over tasks on the highlights show. It's been a show fit for CBBC, really. And then, to top it all off, just when you thought that the producers couldn't make a bigger mistake, they stage a Quadruple Eviction with a Vote to Evict, ensuring that we are left with quite honestly the dullest, most undeserving final five the show has ever had. It was series suicide. And without a doubt the worst production decision I have seen on any show ever.

As for Ultimate Big Brother, I really don't want to think about how they're going to **** that up as well...

It's a sad, sad day when a once loved, iconic television show is ruined by the incompetence of a group of producers.

I never thought I would say it but I am glad this show is ending. It's an embarrassment.

RIP, Big Brother.

Yeah I do agree to an extent Jack. I have to mention that the tasks themselves have been probably the best this series, even though some of the editing gimmicks ruined them slightly (some worked well though).

After seeing how Rachael stood up to John James, it might have been interesting keeping her in longer because she would have snapped out of trying to impress him and behaved like she did at massage-gate. The only problem there was that she was up against Sunshine and Shabby whom were very big characters so she had to be let go. Govan on the other hand, I forgot he was in there at one point.

I agree with some of what you said, and I agree with Jords in that the tasks this series are probably the best tasks we've seen - they've certainly been my favourites!

This series has had its good points and bad points

The producers got sh*t... The cast was AAAAWFUL! Nobody in the finally deserves 100'000 at all!

Agree 100% with this thread and the thought of that fat sow Josie winning makes me want to puke!

I agree with the tasks - the Task Team this year have been on top form. Shame about the rest of the production.

Loved the series :)

But the quadruple eviction and it being vote to evict really ruined what could of been a really close final.

I agree, but I like the way they edit the tasks.

And how many pointless and boring housemates we've had this year:

Nathan, Ife, Keeley, Rachel, Steve, Andrew, JJ, Joe, Laura, Mario. :bored:
