I have 4 bedroom house and a lodger moved in few weeks ago, the women has a 6year old son and since the past 3 weeks she's been badly beating him up, almost for no reason I could hear from the room. She's been practically bullying and torturing that the boy doesn't talk as much as he used to. Though her son has caused some trouble like making things up but its got out of hand. The other day she woke up at 6am and has been verbally abusing till 11am and then beating him up with something. Today I could hear her feeding the boy but the boy has said its too hot, but she started getting violent again. I feel like doing something, but they are leaving in 2 weeks so I dont want to cause trouble.

I think I should do that but they came to UK visit as her husband works in UK so she'll be going back, her husband works outer london and comes for 2 days a week, she doesn't do much infront of him, but really she is a characterless lady and have seen her privately with another guy.

It sounds complicated, and I've seen mom's hit their kids and I do nothing, I'd be too scared to get involved. But if the kid is getting beat and shouted at for hours, that is real abuse, that child would be better in a foster home.

GypsyGoth kindly answered but I thought of Thomas C as well.
If this is true, (99% I doubt it, though)
If this landlord, farhard, is living in a four bedroom house, he/she would not be living alone. Other member of this household must contact police or social workers. There is no time to think!
