ALLIANCE 2010 [HOH Week 1 - HOH Revealed!]

15 Players have confirmed their participation in this first series ever of 'Alliance' on TiBB. However, as the first twist to the game, a person you are all familiar with will be joining you in the game too. Does he already have a target on his back? Perhaps, we will have to see. I welcome you the 16th player of this game, Braden.

Now though, I welcome you all to the first HOH competition of the game. This game is called 'Predict The Outcome'. However, before I announce the rules of the game, I will tell you about how 'Alliance' will be organized.

Each 'Week' (In quotations, as it won't literally last a week), will consist of 4 days:
Day 1: HOH Competition, HOH Competition results.
Day 2: HOH Nominations. POV players Announced.
Day 3: POV Game + Nominations - Followed by the 'Voting to Evict'.
Day 4: Eviction, Next HOH Competition, HOH Competition results.

...and so on. Today is an exception, as it is the start to the game, and therefore 'Day 1' will last until the end of tomorrow. Tomorrow night, the winner of HOH will be crowned, and the following day, they may post their nominations from as early as they would like. Please ask if you have any questions about the following.

Now, for this week's HOH competition, 'Predict the Outcome'. As you all know, the Big Brother UK finale is tomorrow night. I now ask you to send me a PM, with the exact placing (Not percentages) you think each housemate will end up in. You will also be asked to post the winning percentages of the winner, as well as the runner-up (Not including who it might be - purely the numbers).
The aim of the game is to have as few points as possible. For each housemate that you place in the correct spot, you will get (-2) points (In this case, a good thing). For the percentages, every percent you are off from the real result (for both winner and runner-up) you will get (+1) points; in this case, a bad thing. Good luck House-Guests, the ball is now in your hands.

Just read this thread, I object to Braden being in the game!!

He knows everyone's strategy, he knows our alliances, even was one of the question in the initial application! HE knows how the votes went etc, etc......

I understand this. Therefore I have stated that he has a big threat on his back to begin with - a little twist to spice up the game. It's up to you and the other house-guests on how you would like to deal with him being a house-guest. The game is in your hands :wavey:

It would be better to put MRxcx or whatever, than to put someone who knows all the deals. It defeats the whole purpose of the game imo. Its all just fishy to me. I am not down with that!

First thing's First - Chri$ is OUT of Alliance as I got no response from him.However, Everyone else casted their HOH votes - everyone has a chance to be the first HOH of the series. Unfortunately, some adjustments needed to be made to the percentages the house-guests sent into me, as the voting percentages were only announced including all 5 members of the BB finale. Therefore, I have divided what you sent to me, by 100, and multiplied it by 86.5 (The addition of just Dave and Josie's percentages). The calculation like so, saying that you sent me 78% out of 100 for the winner:

Calculation: (78/100) x 86.5

The winner will still be the person who obtained the least points - as you recall, getting the placings right, guaranteed you (-2) points, and (+1) for every percentage you were off - in relation to the winner. Let's find out who will be your NEW HOH.

Anyways though dude, If you look at the main post, I posted that the percentages were adjusted accordingly as all 5 members' percentages were announced all as one. Therefore, allthough your prediction for Final 2 was 78%, Your equivalent prediction for Final 5 was 67%. You still scored one of the highest though.

Also, in regards to Braden, I have spoken to him privately, and have decided to keep him in the game. I do not like to go against my word, and as I have put him in once, specially to cause a bit of a stir, it would be unfortunate to take that stir out myself, so that will depend on you and your fellow house-guests.

Yup, POV players announced as well. I kept my word by keeping Braden, but also kept my word with you that it'd be a fast-paced game. POV players have been revealed as well dude :D

I like them all as a group! Although, I could have done without Preston and Ulrika!

Chantelle is my favorite for some reason, I always liked her! But Makosi is good, John, Coolio. I am dissapointed they didnt pick some of my favorites, like Aisleyne, Grace, Charley, Victor etc...., but this group is still alright!
