Having read the threads on the axeing of the Red button and the idea of a subsciption based BB7 (I cannot get sky and do not have a card based top box!)
I suggest that this should not go without protest , it seems this is no rumour as they have set the pace with the axeing of the red button on cbb4.

What I propose is that every member of this and every other BB forum E mail c4 and put it to them that as the hardcore Audience we will not take any part in the lucrative eviction voting,bblb polls or bbbm polls.

Over 7,possibly more weeks my average spend on BB amounts to about 20.00.Big Brother was sold to us as a 24 hour experiment ,they have served us well over the years,but now want to get greedy and hit the real fans where it hurts.

Please feed back how you feel about this and maybe we can get the ball rolling ,if not saving the red button at least letting C4 know our feelings.

Cheers for that Sol.I was hoping that if enough bb fans e mailed them ,then at least we might know what to expect and take it from there.I would rather use this quiet time in the bb calendar to protest the loss of the Red button/lackof live coverage,than read a million threads in the summer about 'how it ain't fair we did'nt see...'etc etc.

what is the point having big brother 24hrs a day if we cannot have the
use of the red button which enable us 24hrs of live streaming of bb,the red
button was handy to use to catch up on bb even during other programmes like friends,

without the red button, it means we cannot catch up on bb during other
programmes, so the alternative is to create a channel for bb only
apart from the adverts.

what do you think?

I think the issue is that we are going to have to pay for a service that has up until now been free.There was a BB channel available free last summer and the technology is certainly there for all kinds of interactive services,the four screen option for bb3 always comes to mind.
The details still seem a bit sketchy,but I do think that paying for the live feed would be a big turn off to the hardcore BB fans who vote and support the show.;
