I GOT ALL EXCITED THIS MORNING, REHEARSED MY EXCUSES TO GET INTO WORK LATE, CHECKED OUT THE WEBCAM (NO SUCH LUCK), AND THEN HEARD IT WASN'T UNTIL WEDNESDAY!
How can I wait until then to hear those dulcet tones again?:bawling:
Still, it will be worth it. Bring it on!:love::love:
I completely forgot it this morning so I was about to say I was pleased it was Wednesday, but then I remembered I'm working in Cambridge on Wednesday so prob won't be able to hear it. Does anyone know if you can get Virgin in Cambridge?

The Breakfast Show is on from 6am till 9am, but don't despair, last time Paul was on it, he didn't make an appearance till about 8.30am!

I just looked on the website and it says the breakfast show is 6am til 10am, now Im just gonna make a note of the frequency, its got one for London and another for elsewhere!
The only things they have on the websie about Paul are from when he was on there just after he came out of the house, holding his sign up saying 'see you on Friday H'! Aaaw bless!
:paul::helen: - Cool! Wicked! Double Cool!

You can listen to the streaming version of the interview by clicking on this link:

I've converted it to an MP3 so you can download it for your media collections. :spin2: It's a 4.2 MB file:

James, thanks a lot!
Unfortunately though, I can't seem to copy it this to disc or hard drive. It just opens and plays. Not that this isn't fan-bloody-tastic in itself of course, because the dulcet tones resonate throughout my solitary bower and I am as one with the great man himself!
However, I must be doing something wrong, so please, someone, what should I be doing????:conf:

Paul sounded in great form and his interview was very informative and entertaining. I know I've said this countless times before, but I really think he would do extremely well as a Radio DJ. Wake up, Virgin Radio!!! :dazzler:

Any1 feel like posting a transcript?
Please! Pretty please!
Or is it really long?
James

OK, I've speeded it up.
So if Paul still sounds like Barry White download this:
http://www.j.alphaphe.com/Paul-Virgin_Radio-24th_July-speeded_up.mp3 (www.j.alphaphe.com/Paul-Virgin_Radio-24th_July-speeded_up.mp3)
It's twice as fast so if it's too fast now he'll sound like one of the smurfs.
If this doesn't work I'll start on the transcript.

I managed to hear the great man live this morning cos I had to go to the doctors for some test results (all clear thank goodness) so was feeling a bit nervous, but there I was at 8.50 with my cup of coffee, recorder at the ready and then the dulcet tones of Paul. Bliss!! pre-doctors nerves went out the window. He does talk sense, although I am not sure what difference Jonny's profession has on his ability to win BB. Loved the daft question and answer session at the end. He seemed so relaxed - must remember to take my radio into work on Friday - I'm sure he'll beat Nasty Nick in any quiz.

He was sounding gorgeous, deep, resonant, sexy and just like well............Paul Clarke!!!
He really doesn't know who he thinks will win does he. Who does?
Interesting that he said people are recognising him again a lot more since this has been and he'll be glad when it ends. How could anyone not have recognised him?????
Did anyone else see the entry in the 'spotted' section of this week's heat?
'BB2's Paul looking dishevelled in track suit bottoms, heading for the Walkabout bar in Newquay for breakfast'.
Nice to see he got a mention again. BUT, why dishevelled, under-dressed and without Helen?
OH has put forward this hypothesis to calm my hyperactive (you sad old tart) imagination:
OH: Paul is a bloke who likes to keep fit, right?
ROB: Well he certainly looks fit
OH: Yes, and he's younger than your youngest son!
ROB:
 I'm only worrying for Helen
OH: Right! Well he'd obviously been for a run on the beach, leaving Helen to put on her slap in the B&B.
ROB: Do you really think so?
OH: GET A LIFE!

I had a similar conversation with my OH when I read my daughter's copy of Heat which I buy for her every week and then read before she gets a look in. At my comment of "Where was Helen". His suggestion was that they were probably going out later and seeing as it takes Helen 2 hours to get ready, Paul decided to go and get some breakfast cos he couldnt get in the shower. Bet he still looked gorgeous = Paul in a tracksuit bottom and dishevelled still better than most other men. Hope they had a good break anyway. As I was informed he was seen in Newquay - what did I expect to see him wearing - a suit.
Following Paul's comment this morning about playing golf, I hope Helen is not going to become a golf widow. If she is, some advice from experience.
1. Never accompany him to pull his golf club holder thing around cos you think it might be a nice afternoon out for a stroll - IT NEVER IS.
2. You will hear language you thought you would never hear coming from his mouth - quite unrepeatable, just because the silly ball wouldnt go in the right direction.
3. Never mention that there are a couple of cute rabbits emerging from the bushes just to his right as he is about to hit the ball.
4. And lastly never ever mention how many he went round the silly course in and how many he should have gone round in.
Still I am sure if Paul mentions golf or anything else too often Helen can suggest something else much more interesting to do.:paul::helen::love::love:

Here I am, greeting you from darn south, at Lesley's house. Guess where I am going tonight?  I cannot believe no one has posted about Paul's heroic victory over Nasty Nick in the BB quiz.!!! Which he dedicated thus:
"I did it for you Hel!!"
I didn't hear all of it (hint hint James!!!) because I was changing my plans from driving to travelling by train, but I think I heard he would be watching it from home :bawling: :bawling:
Hey ho!
I'll think of you all tonight!

Paul walloped Nick in the quiz.
It looks like Paul has been watching Big Brother a lot.
He even knew that Sunita left on day 7. Impressive, very impressive BB knowledge.

I managed to tape Paul this morning - he is quite an anorak - perhaps Helen has been testing him over the last few days.
Seems to have changed his mind since the last time he was on and now thinks Alex will win
