Just goes to show that your not allowed to offend or cause arguments in Big Brother anymore.

What happened to you bb?

Even the clown last night. It was planned to stay in the house for a while and torment Nikki but after 5 minutes of screaming from the housemates Big Brother make the decision to pull him out.

I agree, Coolio doesnt seem to be the kind of guy who would walk, he was intent on winning, Big Brother must have put pressure on him

He was clled in last night, then again twice this morning, and still he was rude to the hm's. Constant breaking of rules, he should have been shot out, by mutual agreement or not.
A rude prat, rather than too controversial.

But that is the OPs complaint - being a 'rude prat' is what gets you shot out nowadays.
Maybe his US style wasn't taken as well as when John McC does it or Science does it?
I suspect it's something cultural though. Coolio's culture regards Nadia as having done something immoral and wrong but in this house in the UK you MUST acknowledge it as acceptable (if not praiseworthy) but Coolio cannot do that so.. I dunno but maybe there was no choice here?

(just speculating obviously)

It was either Nadia or Coolio. Easy choice really.

They obviously don't want arguments in the house, and that's why BB should be on Channel5. I hope things will change when/if that happens. Big Brother without arguments isn't Big Brother.

"Mutual Agreement" means he gets to keep his fee!!!

BB has lost all credibility with BB11 and UBB, but maybe Ch4 planned it as a sabotage act if Ch 5 bought it, They can never go back to the old days of "what BB says must be obeyed".

It could well be a cultural thing, but I think he was warned more than once and then carried on. No idea of exactly what was said to be honest.
Nick said that when Coolio went into the garden after coming out of the DR he was still being rude about the other HM's, hopefully we will get to see it all on HL's.

I really hope it did not come down to a case of either him or Nadia going as that would just be wrong.

Tbh CBB6 was tame as well. Still can't quite believe the Tree offered to give John a newspaper each day as well! The rule book really has been ripped up and p!ssed all over

They all overreacted to that clown last night, though. What was it but a man in a mask. It was blinkin' stupid the way the housemates behaved. Cowering in a corner, screaming. It was utter insanity.

Why? he was the one being rude, there would have been no choice of anyone going if he would just have put his brain in action before his big mouth. Nadia had every right to say she doesn't want to be in the same room as him and will walk if he stays.

BB knew how Coolio was from his ealier days in the previous BB yet they still allowed him back in. It shows he hasn't changed.

Yep, thay're all drama queens and that's why they were chosen to go back in. Preston was runnning around smiling and Coolio just looked at the clown like with a look of "WTF?!" about him lol

So he walked? What a pussy.

I'm not on Coolio's side, but I think housemates should only be called to the diary room if they are being racist, homophobic or physically threatening. For everything else, I would rather BB just let the dynamics play out. If they are a bully, evict them.

If he has broken the rules then I am all for him going. Hopefully we will see this.
From what the hm's were saying it certainly looks this way. But until we see it all we will not know. He was in the DR on and off a few times, perhaps for warnings, perhaps not.

I do hope it was not a question of BB asking him to leave just because Nadia threatened to go though.

It has become tame over the years. But just as important is favouritism, they don't care if some people are upset as much as others. They will try everything to keep some HMs in (like Shabby) but not care much about others (unless they lose eviction money)

Do you think the Shilpa Shetty CBB series ****ed up Big Brother? Since then they seemed to have tone down arguments, alcohol and the rest in order to please the masses and not upset the sad twats who phone in and complain.

"Following an eventful morning in the House, at 13:20 today Coolio was called to the Diary Room to talk to Big Brother. Shortly after, in agreement with Big Brother, it was mutually decided that Coolio should leave the House.
Big Brother broke the news to the surprised housemates at 14:37. One thing is for sure, Coolio is a character whose absence will be felt. "

That's more or less it. BB was never the same after CBB5. BB intervening whenever someone raises their voice, housemates hardly allowed any alcohol, nudity not shown.

There again, who can blame them when they have a draconian regulator like Ofcom breathing down their necks?

It's a gradual thing but CBB5 was a big part of it.

Right from BB1 half the bunch admitted to seeking fame, Nick was the first controversy, and right from BB1 there's been a power struggle between HMs and BB itself

BB2 purposely looked for 'soap opera characters' as HMs, BB5 looked for HMs that would definately clash and from BB6 onwards the HMs have been extreme personalities, blatant fame seekers with no appreciation for the BB experience itself, and HMs with disablities or health issues

BB2 introduced twists, BB3 elevated that, and by BB7 we'd seen most of the twists on offer

BB7 is when BB started ignoring its own rules and original concept by sending Nikki back in, then CBB5 had HMs who were related (Jade and co), BB8 had the twins, BB9 Lisa/Mario, Rex/Nicole, BB10 Carly/Kenneth, Isaac/Noirin, the London task, BB11 the army guy, Ben's stand up, Andrew Stone, Andrew and Corin doing Glee, David Copperfield illusion, ignore the obvious task, panto horse racing etc etc and now in UBB the Tree offering to give John a newspaper each day

Fight Night was part of the reason why BB's toned down the arguments and violence. Similarly, Kinga with the bottle and Makosi in the jacuzzi are partly why BB toned down the alcohol and raunchiness.

But CBB5 was when Ofcom really stepped in and BB became too sensitised
