No wonder Coolio took the piss.
These two take themselves much too seriously and could quite easily have laughed off Coolio's digs.
Later, it got far too serious. But really some of them just didn't get him at all......or even wanted to.
Ulrika and Josie on the very first night as soon as he even entered the house, were prime examples.
Sourpusses and hugely competitive.

They don't lack a sense of humour. He's just not funny... not intentionally anyway.

And neither are they, unless you can point out any specific thing that they've said or done that's hilarious or the slightest bit humorous.

They have a great SOH and great laughs too!
Just coz they dont share your taste in humour or taste in Coolio doesnt mean they have no SOH!
Coolio is very easy to misread especially if you are already weary of him. Which Nads and Nikki were.

Well I thought so too until tonight. But after tonight's show what I saw was a guy who knew that there was a collective ganging up of feeling against him, and tonight's fallout proved that he was right.
I'm all for housemates with a sense of humour, but Nikki and Nadia failed dismally tonight and showed that a sense of humour is okay so long as they are at the centre of it and at someone else's expense. Complete double standards and hypocrisy on their parts.
And I'm at least capable of changing my mind and not just a diehard fan of a housemate and will call it how I see it, even if it is my favourite at fault.

I think all three of them are pretty humourless, at least when it comes to laughing about themselves. Though Nadia has shown some ability to laugh at herself when Brian is taking the micky. Don't know what happened but I think Coolio probably overstepped the mark, which isn't difficult to do when BB and Endemol are the one's who decide what not acceptable. I don't think he's the most open-minded person anyways. I had a sneaking suspicion he nominated Nadia this week, because of the transgender thing and passed it off as her "being a threat" (not much of a threat in my eyes, can't see her winning, again).

Coolio is great for finding out the true character of a person
get a room of 20 strangers, send in Coolio
after a few days the ones that have face like thunder are the same type of people who are intolerant and judgmental of others
the ones who end up having a laugh and a joke with him have a sense of humour and easy going people
Chantelle likes him so did Terry Christian
Nadia, Nikki, Michelle these all hate him
its a shame he has gone, cos he would have been great entertainment all week

Spot on and summed up to perfection.
Nadia's lack of a sense of humour shone through again with the clown, having a pathetic moan over a little prank. God, I hate her

Well said cath!!....your views are as valid as anyones!!
And I agree, to a certain extent!...In my opinion...they purposely supressed their SOH, in a (successful) atempt to isolate and elinminate a 'big competitor' to the throne!..It was proffessionally exocuted opperation!
Now that they have succeded , they'll bring-on phase two!..in which, they become the life and soul of the house...until their next target has been chosen!!
Mind-you...I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with having a 'game',..it is a competition after-all!
That's my view and I could'nt care less what anyone else thinks!! :xyxwave:

Its not for you to dictate how somebody should perceive anothers mocking. Coolio mocking their voices is not the same as Brian mocking them.
Pretend it is if it suits but it just isnt. Theyre familiar with Brians SOH. They were already intimidated by Coolio. Especially Nikki.
Dont mock people like that unless you are familiar with them. Otherwise it can easily be misinterpreted. As it was.

Totally. I hated the Portugeezer throughout BB5, it made me puke to see it win. It's ruining this series.
Nikki is a total drama queen playing up to the cameras.
The worst thing was putting these two vacuous idiots into the house.

I haven't dictated to anyone and therefore can't be bothered to read or answer the rest of your post.

I doubt he was doing it to be funny either, but nevertheless, he showed them up as exactly what they are........petty minded supercilious right up their own prima donna asses. They could have laughed it off and rose above it, but instead took the tantrum route as expected and what their fans want I suppose.
God forbid any of their fans actually do meet them in real life and have a bit of banter with them, they'd be feigning heart attacks.

We're not talking about them. We're talking about Coolio. He wasn't funny. He was being aggressive making what could be considered threats and just made everybody uncomfortable, not just Nikki and Nadia.
No normal person would have found that funny if they were there. He was just being an asshole.

What threats?
I think this is a case of chinese whispers and Coolio being accused of things that were never there in the first place. All started off by Ulrika and her past history and spiralling off from there. And then we have the ever sensitive Nikki who hated him because he said that she looked like a 12 year old.
Get the picture?

Not talking about rumours. Just stuff like standing over Nadia saying "the game is on, no holding back now". If it is not threatening, then it is still more threatening than it is funny. Everybody in the room was squirming. Incredibly awkward and it had nothing to do with their lack of a sense of humour. I'd even venture to say anybody who would find it funny in Nadia or Nikki's shoes has a dubious grasp on the concept of humour.

Agree, I am not a huge Coolio fan but I thought they took it waaaay too seriously. It actually made me feel a bit disapointed with the UBB HMs that they take themselves too seriously and lack sense of humour. Coolio was messing around, he even tried to explained in the bedroom that he was just messing around and not to take him seriously.
I really hope this doesn't continue in UBB, we really need some fun in that house.

Nadia is another one that needs bringing down a peg or two, she seems to think that she's queen bee in there and some major celebrity, when essentially she's a nobody.
There would be absolutely monumental arguments if I was in there cos I would not back down or walk out like Coolio did.
