there just isn't any amazing acts so far :( this time last year we had already seen danyl, stacey, joe, jedward etc. i haven't looked at anyone and thought they were live show standard just yet.

It's just sh*t in general now.

Axe it.

It should of been axed after XF5 that would of sent it out on a high.

I completely agree. Can't wait for the US version of TXF.

Oh god that'll be even worse, it'll just be like American Idol or AGT.

I'm only opposed to an American version because I don't want Cheryl to move to LA and ditch the UK!:bawling: That's if she takes part.

I like it, and when it does actually get to the live shows I think we'll just see it like normal. I often think this at the audition process.

This. Didn't even watch yesterday's episode of TXF, it's just a joke of a show now.

Im quite enjoying it.

Gamu, Katie (if she hasnt been disqualified), The Reason, Mary and Matt were really good I thought.

I hope so. Right now it's like they're just focusing on the **** acts and then 2 average singers who they make out to be wonderful. Mary (I think?) last night was good but no way is she suited for this competition. I think it was more organised last year in that there was a decent amount of talented acts on each episode.

Gamu is good but eh, she's no 'pop star'. The Reason need to calm the **** down with their harmonies because this isn't American Idol.

I saw an article with Simon saying that this had been one of the best years yet for talent, So I can see it getting better, but yea so far there have only been 3/4 good acts

I like Gamu, Katie and Mary. We still have about 5 audition shows to go. Although, I do get your point.

I swear they say that every year though lol. I agree with the OP, I'm yet to see an act which I can see being good enough the star in the live shows come November. Hopefully it improves, but I'm fast getting bored of X Factor tbh

Hollie Burns is definitely the best contestant so far this year.

Also love The Reason, Matt & Katie.

That's not so bad. American Idol generally has a much higher standard of contestants than the X-Factor.

Yep, I used to be the other way round, but now theres only so many times you can laugh at people who think they can sing.

Plus now we get amazing performances from real stars :D

Early days yet... I've been a little bit underwhelmed; and it's very clear that they want a group to win this year already - but there's not really been any outstanding performances yet, I haven't seen a potential winner - that's maybe a good thing, it certainly made Series 5 a lot more exciting, but you do want to see some talent in the early stages...

I've only watched a bit of it and it hasn't been that good at all. I've just got no motivation to watch it or get invested in it like I usually can. I don't feel any buzz around it this year and its become too perfect and polished now which just isn't right.

I like the initial auditions before boot camp/judges houses as the bad auditions make me lol and its great when we get some raw talent, but after it drags until the live shows start.

Btw who was Hollie Burns, Darenn? Cant remember the name :/
