why did BB choose Coolio and then decide they don't want him anymore?

surely they chose him cos he provides entertainment and winds up the other HMs

if they don't want him to wind up any HMs, why choose him in the first place?

what is the point in them wasting money paying him a fee, then later hanging him out to dry

Coolio broke no rules at all. John James and Sam and plenty other HMs in the past have done far worse than Coolio has done, yet BB saw no problem in their behaviour.

So what exactly did Coolio do wrong?

I really don't understand. I sort of liked Coolio and he was funny in the unconventional way. He was boa****l and flaunted his big ego, but I think Chantelle is correct in saying that he has a softer side as well. Nadia's response was over-the-top and she seems to have bigger ego than Coolio and the rest of the housemates together, which is surprising because Nikki is also there and her ego is not small either...
