Do you think they would or not?

tbh, it's been a fail for me. They probably would have just continued with BB11.

Yes!...Of course they would!...It probably wont be a fail in their bank-balance!

On second thoughts....Maybe they would'nt?...because if they could see in to the future...They'd just clean up on the lotteries and GGs instead!...

It has been a million times better than BB11, if anything I think they are regretting not doing this All Star series all summer.

Endemol, like all companies, exists to make money.

For them, the question of whether UBB has been a success or failure will be decided by their accountants! ;)

I would have loved that but I doubt the popular HMs would have done it for 13 weeks

In entertainment terms BB11 was a bit of a fail, although it probably made a decent profit for Endemol.

UBB is certainly arguably better entertainment than BB11 (although that may not be saying much!) I suspect though, with the big fees being paid out to some HMs and perhaps lower voting, it may be less of a success financially.

One can only hope and pray that it is a financial DISASTER, bottom line - only the money counts!

What makes you think that UBB is making a loss? :conf:

I didn't say that at all.

I am suggesting it will turn out to be less profitable. All depends how much monye they are raking in (advertising + voting money) minus fees to HMs and of course their normal operational expenses.... and Davina! :D

We may not be ecstatic about how they run the show!...But i'd bet my pension that they would'nt have put it on if it was'nt an earner Caudlehalbard! :xyxwave:

Absolutely. But they cannot predict how much interest the viewing public will take or how much voting (= money) will go on.

Although I am guessing the voting money is a good deal less than the advertising sponsorship - probably by a very, very long way.

its been a fail to the people who are not enjoying it (but still watching it, wierdly).......and to those who are liking it, it has not been a fail.

*I* just find it to be a fail because of how there's no alcohol, there's been sh** HMs (Ulrika instead of Pete Burns who WANTED to do it) and music on tasks etc...

Only in your opinion. However many don't share it.

That's only you opinion though. I would rather Ulrika than Pete Burns, I hated him.

don't know why but I think that they where guaging thoroughout BBII how successful it was. Presumably looking at viewing figures and voting numbers. Remember the housemates where expecting it to go on a lot longer. Obviously they still had to fill the the schedules so they came up with the idea of pulling it all together with a lot of previous contentants. I am surprised with how much the UBB contentants know of other BB contentants. I may know their first names but certainly not their seconds.
