I doubt it. The public always feel that they can connect more with a single person. When there's a group of people the spotlight has got to be on all of them. If one of the group pulls off some amazing vocals throughout the performance they will hardly get any of the hype that a soloist would get if they pulled off some amazing vocals.

doesnt anyone think that x factor is such a cliche and the more it goes on the more people are gonna start hating it...i think it is tyme the judges changed and the blue peter reject that replaced holly willoughby she is CRAP if i must say so mi self.....hopefully cheryl gets the group spmetyme becos the more the show goes on the more confident she gets in order to critise other groups if she thinks she can do betta then they should give her the grouppp
