I just love her voice and the whole sound of her music, the above is "When I'm Alone" which is her 'big' debut single. It's just so Summery and happy.

I've been waiting for a new mainstream blues/folk singer so I'm so happy Lissie has come along!

I don't think she'll be as successful here as she is in the US though :/

She isn't a drama student, she's almost 30 years old and got to where she is now by working her way up from opening act at her university bar/club/whatever.

She's a folk/blues/country singer, not another Diana Vickers.

So, so happy she's been nominated for a Q Award - "Breakthrough Artist", go Lissie! Glad she's had recognition for her brilliant album. & considering these nominees are representing the past 12 months, Lissie has only been around really about 6 months in the UK so she's made quite an impact!
