that's not the point! Giving money to charity is amazing, but the way he did it is not. It was a scam. if you want people to give money to a charity clearly state so, but don't scam them out of money then expect to redeem yourself because you "offer" to then give it to charity.

So are you suggesting that Josie's charity CLIC is in fact a scam and she and Sam are part of that scam? Why don't you get your facts straight, the charity itself has thanked Sam and Josie for their donations, and CLIC can be checked out at the Charity Commission since the registration number is quite clearly given on the website.

Some of the things she's saying are not at all funny (she might think she is),and even if it's meant in jest, there are people who might really believe he has not donated the money he was sent. Clic Sargent is a well established childrens cancer charity,lots of famous people are involved with it,so it's NOT thanks to him people are aware of it,the charity was well known of way before Sam pepper.and why didn't he just give the link to Clic Sargent instead of people donating to HIM,sounds a bit suss to me.

Agree with all you say - the only problem with the Grace Dent "banter" is that it could be taken the wrong way by some - as this thread has shown!
