Hello and welcome to an audience with me.. Ben Duncan.
Anyways, So Waterloo Road began last night and it really was weird because it didn't feel like a new series in one way but then in another way it felt like a completely new show.
The reason it didn't feel like a new series was because I'm sure we all agree it feels like just last week Series 5 ended!
However, so many characters have left that it feels like a spin off show or something!
First of, Bolton Smiley was a legend and now he is gone.
People like Rose Kelly, Paul, Michaela White, Jo Lipsett, Steph Haydock, Kim Campbell and Rachel Mason have left.
It's quite sad, but Janeece is back so this is a great thing, always brightens up the show.
I'm not sure on this new principle, she seems like a nice enough lady but she doesn't fit Rachel's shoes at all, ALTHOUGH one thing that principle has brought is her very hot daughter Jess.
The episode started of brilliantly and then we met this new family..
Now, the brother I find quite cool and I really like him the way he stood up to Jess and he reminds me of Marley Kelly from Series 4, anyone else think this?
But the sister is a cow.
She dragged the episode down, the episode went completely off topic and just ruined itself when that little girl went missing and they all ran to look for her.
We've seen this SO MANY TIMES BEFORE!
The pupil runs away, they call the police, they send out a search party, they find her and go to the pub.
You'd think after 4 years of this they would close the bloody school gates!
So in my opinion, the series got off to a bad start but we have 19 episodes left.
Let me know what you all thought please!
Waterloo Road Series 6 continues TONIGHT [Yes Tonight:shocked:] on BBC1 and BBC HD at 8PM.
