Why do people think girls are jealous of HMs?

just curious, my mate (shes studying with me at uni) says that some people said that she (and other girls) are jealous of Makosi or other attractive female HM's and thats why they vote them out.

i think this untrue. people (guys and girls) vote on personality, so why do so many people try to make it like voters are jealous??

im a guy and vote on personality and she votes on personality too. so what gives?

Every couple of days it seems there's a "you're all jealous..." thread. I've no idea why. Gets tedious after a while because like the OP, I vote for people who's personality and character I dislike.

Its one of the most infuriating notions people generalise about BB. I think it stems from the fact, women tend to go first. Which for me is nothing more than male housemates usually banding together at the start and voting for woman they hardly know over male HMs they hardly know!

I'll be honest with you, I missed the first night of UBB, so I really dont know who was and wasn't boo'd out of that lot, I would imagine though as everyone already knew the ultimate contestants, they would be going on their previous knowledge of them rather than their VTs as with the usual un known HMs

Look i aint saying EVERY single decent looking bird is going to get booed, just the majority will. If you're are a good looking girl you must be inch perfect on your vt to not get booed, one comment SLIGHTLY out of the place and they'll pounce, it's the way its always been. I cant comment on both Kates and Helens entrances because 1. dont remember their vts and 2. i dont remember the crowds reaction. Again like i said earlier, if someone can point me in the right direction to past vts i could prove my point over and over again.

Just for the record, i dont believe the negative crowd reaction is solely down to looks, but it plays a major part. I also believe one other factor that plays a part in a negative reaction is that i think girls dont like other girls giving females a bad name i.e if you get some girl acting a tart on their vt the crowds reaction is almost certainly going to be negative as its looked as 'letting the side down, we aint all like that' type of thing. I also believe being confident for an attratcive girl is another big no no. Aswell as a few other factors.

Basically if you're a stunner on your vt, you must be extremely modest or a bit of a dipsy to not get booed, any sign of arrogance, confidence etc and you are almost certain to be booed. The same formula does not apply for Males and unatractive-decent looking females.

So the girls who say that they evict someone on there personality are deluded. How could you like Johnjames? ...yet he stayed!
