I too, have noticed that he is walking around with a bit of a "swagger" on this big brother and does have an immensley high opinion of himself. Now, some may say "so he should" or "he's earned it", but i will continue to watch with interest his behaviour and the public reaction to him.

It was actually a pretty tight finish between him and Helen. It was so hard to call that the Sun ran a front page campaign for Helen and the Mirror ran a front page campaign for Brian.

Even after the show was over commentators were making the mistake that Helen had won because she was the bigger character.

Contrast that with BB11 where 77% went to one person even though the field was 4 not 2. In the Mother of all ****** ups channel 4 managed to evict the three favourites in one fell swoop by having an eviction as opposed to win poll. Fine on a one on one but a f*8k up for 4 from 8, where the favourites will fall.

So BB decided their mare not the public and she lasted three furlongs in UBB. Meanwhile the other mare would have climbed Everest and back ten times before giving up.

I actually prefer Brian now to when he appeared in BB2. Then it was basically his cool gang (nearly the whole house) against the fauxmance couple Paul and Helen. He led a bitch fest against perma-evictees Helen and Paul but couldn't get rid of them and then went off on a mard as his cool gang gradually got wittled away. They even had to have the pyscho analyst discussing Brian's disappointment as he lost his ''friends'' and Brian castigated the stupid public for not getting rid of Helen and Paul.

In the end it worked his way because towards the end Helen and Paul were the only ones up for eviction, so one had to go.

The finale Helen v Brian went to Brian.

I find it hard to forgive Brian for his JJ v Cozza style hate fest against his main competitors Paul and Helen.

Always up for a plug for Cozza, even if it is off topic. As I previously alluded it is a shame that a HM who got molly coddled throughout should win and then only last three days, where as Cozza's mettle was tested beyond belief.

Oh well it was 9 years ago and I don't have the stats to hand. Paul not Steve by the way. But I stick with the fact that he was pretty mardy that perma-evictees Paul and Helen were staying in and the public couldn't see what he could see. I googled and note that they actually stayed together for five years (Paul and Helen)- not bad for a showmance.

No worries Brian will win after Nikki, Chanters and any of his other competitors go on a quad eviction. Who wins, big brother decides.

Brian Dowling's alright... he comes across like he's exaggerating everything and deliberately performing. I wouldn't mind him winning but I don't really care for UBB as much as I thought I would.

In the past, I could take or leave Brian, but I have liked him more and more in UBB.

He's more intelligent than people give him credit for, and I don't think his 'campness' is an act. I've tried to 'see through him, but I think what you see is what you get. He is genuinely funny and witty, and he can handle Nikki without losing his temper. The way he handled her when she wanted to move beds was funny and it showed he has a genuine, caring side. I hope he wins. I'd hate it to be that dumb airhead Chantelle. :mad:
