Why have Blackpool fans been so arrogant lately? Blackpool have been awful this season (Did anyone see the Arsenal 6-0 Blackpool match?) Blackpool were incredibly lucky to get promoted (Finishing 6th and getting promoted is a joke) and don't deserve to be in the Premier League. I believe they will be going down with a record points total and they will deserve it. We don't want pathetic, no mark, clubs such as Blackpool in the top flight. I live 15 miles away from of Blackpool and really didn't want them to go up. I felt sorry for Preston fans who have seen their team lose in two Championship/Division One play-off finals (2001 and 2005) and two play-off Semi Finals (2006, 2009) and then have to watch their bitter rivals fluke their way up to the top flight.

Of course they deserve it, maybe their ground isnt big, their team is crap, but they still earned their right to be there.

It's not their fault they had a chance to get promoted by finishing in 6th place lol

And I don't really think theyve been awful either, 4-0 win away to wigan (theyre crap but still), 2-2 draw with fulham!

They earnt their place to be there.
Championship allows them to come 6th and go up.. they took their oppurtunity.

And no doubt they lost 6 -0 to us they dont have the quality and conditioning of the big 4 or 6.. but they will give some of the lower teams a good run..

Wigan
West ham
West brom etc.

Do you deliberately start these threads to troll, or do you genuinely know next to cock all about football?

This.

I think Blackpool are a better team than you've given them credit for. Granted, their stadium isn't the best, (it didn't even have a roof when I went up there a couple of year ago :D) but they had a good season last year and deserve to be where they are now. You say they've been awful this season. How can you judge them on three games, and if you choose to, how can you miss out there 4-0 win against Wigan?

They've also got a few decent players, Charlie Adam looked brilliant when he came to The Hawthorns last season. I also rate Gary Taylor-Fletcher, and Marlon Harewood will prove to be a good buy for them.

All in all, I'd prefer to see a team like Blackpool, with passionate supporters and something about them, in the Premier League than a nothing club like Wigan who can barely sell half their stadium every week.

I know a lot about football. I know that they were in Football League One until 2007 when they got lucky against Yeovil in the play-off final. I know that their ground is one of the worst in the country. I know that their fans are persistant trouble causers as it's been reported in the local media. I know that they fluked into the play-offs last season and were very lucky to go up. Why would I 'troll'?
