If you're uploading pictures to the forum try and save them in jpg format rather than bmp. JPGs are much smaller to store on the site and use less bandwidth - so they are quicker to load.

When you go to save a picture, you can usually save as a JPG by selecting JPEG next to Save as Type.

Alternatively you can use this online tool to convert pictures on your computer to the JPEG format - http://www.dvdsmiles.com/Default.aspx?Content=ConvertImage

You can also use that website to resize pictures. :thumbs:

My desktop picture is the default Windows XP meadow one (and about 150 icons :hugesmile:) - I've never changed it.
