Does big brother get any profit from Housemates earnings, post big brother?

I have been wondering for a while whether they profit from housemates mag deals and stuff like that.
That would explain them protecting housemates with big stories like Josie and John

how do you know? There are still in the big brother contract for a while afterwards so it could be possible they get a percentage. Like a talent agent gets a percentage after they launch someone.

Quite frankly, I wouldn't pay either Chantelle, Nikki, Michelle, Victor, or even Brian one penny for their views, or any appearance fee. I reckon their views are totally irrelevant. I bet Nikki's magazine column is a pile of s***.
