So, one of my closest friend told me he broke up with his 4 years long girlfriend last night, my other friend broke up too, another one is pregnant but daddy left, the rest of my people are either single or having an affair. And my couple is starting to sink (not that I didn't expect it, we had another argument today right in front of everyone)

What's wrong with couples in 2010 ? Someone tell me please.

Ps: I hardly ever mention my private life in here but I need some opinion.

I think it is because the human race.. well we are MEANT to be living longer. Therefore a long lasting relationship with ONE person is more likely to break down!

I remember that time too man ! I mean, we have such a strong history together but something doesn't feel right anymore. I really don't want to screw it up. It's a head**** really.

And seeing all my friends having issues too, that doesn't help at all.

Two of my mates are pretty much trapped. One has already got his bird pregger wy.ho already has kids. And another one is being emotionally manipulated by someone younger than him and pretty much going nowhere in life, so basically she just wants to have a baby.

If you mean a break as in time apart that usually doesnt work as it becomes to hard to get back together..

why dont you go on holiday with each other?

Good idea, my mate and his girlfriend were together 19 months and were having troubles, she has a kid, that he looks after and has become a good father figue to. They all went on holiday together and came back stronger than ever.

Breaks don't work imo. If my hubby ever asked for a break I'd tell him to ***** off!

What kind of things do you fight about? Is it stuff that can be sorted out do you think?

A general disagreement about pretty much everything. I just don't enjoy being around her right now, she's either moaning, not saying anything or leaving me besides. I think it's due to the fact I haven't seen her in 6 weeks as she went back to Luxembourg this summer to see her family. Now she's back and it looks like something has changed. Maybe it's me, maybe I got used to being alone this summer.

Anyway, breaks don't work, I've experienced it with my ex-girlfriend, it's just a deadly countdown to the break up.
About the holidays, that's a good idea, I'll try that one.

Well, If you do want to get it back on track you need to start talking to her and figuring out what's wrong so you can try to fix it. The secret to a good relationship is being able to communicate with your other half and that takes work.
