Is that all?! Potentially, he could have killed numerous people and he gets a month imprisonment?

I didn't realise he had made any more music, since is last greatest hits.
Well, apart from that Christmas single a year or two ago.

Saying he cried like a little boy is a bit pathetic.
As a big fan of his I hope it gives him the reality check he needs. Seems to have worked for Boy George. He is clearly a danger to himself and to others in his current state.
4 weeks? Is that all?
So much to do in such a little time.
He'll have to try and squeeze it all in before he has to leave.

Yeah but chances are he will be considered for tagging and release under licence after two weeks.
With prison overcrowding and the fact his crime isnt regarded as being serious.
He has admitted he has a problem with his addiction, so will be viewed by prison service social workers as being more suited to release and some sort of treatment.
All that cock so little time!
Bet he doesnt take his soap on a rope into the showers with him. In fact it wouldnt surprise me to find out every time he walked into the shower, he throws his soap on the floor so he has to bend and spread to pick it up, saying something along the lines of "Oh look silly me I dropped it again, Any takers?".

Aw, poor George, I love him. But it was going to happen sooner or later.
Apparently, he's already been caught with a chocolate bar up his butt... Seems somebody has been careless with a Wispa

Oh dear. That's nothing compared to the Hard Day or 30 that'll he'll have to contend with in there, which will probably need alot of time afterwards to Heal the Pain. Forget about singing your song Hand to Mouth Michael, you'll be doing far more A to Mouth performances in there.
I blame it on Shasown for the soap comment... got me thinking along those lines. Actually, I really like George Michael and it's a bit of an extreme sentence. Think they're making an example of him.
Poor Georgey! I like him too actually.. :)

Nah his second time charged for the same offence, driving while unfit through drugs, plus he has been let off with cautions for the same offence on at least two occasions. He has quite a record - excuse the pun.
April 1998: Arrested in public toilets in Beverly Hills, California for engaging in a lewd act and sentenced to 80 hours community service. The incident forced him to disclose his homosexuality and his relationship with American Kenny Goss.
May 2004: Smashes through barriers on the A20 at North Acton, London writing-ff his BMW convertible. He did not face any charges.
February 2006: Found slumped at the wheel of his car at Hyde Park Corner and cautioned for possession of cannabis.
April 2006: Hits three parked cars while trying to maneuver his Range Rover out of a parking space, and admits to being "a terrible driver."
May 2006: Crashes into bollard near his home after falling asleep at the wheel.
October 2006: Found slumped over the wheel of his car as it blocked an junction.
May 2007: Pleads guilty to driving while unfit through drugs and banned from driving for two years and sentenced to 100 hours community service.
September 2008: Cautioned for possession of class A, which included crack cocaine, and class C drugs.
August 2009: Involved in a late-night crash with a lorry on the A34 near Reading, Berkshire. He releases a statement stressing he was "stone cold sober" at the time.
(Courtesy of the Telegraph)
The recommended minimum sentence for driving under the influence for a repeat offender kicks off at a year, so in reality he got off really light.

Eight weeks up the nick???
That's like giving Vanessa Feltz eight weeks in a chocolate factory!!:joker:
Lily linked me to a BBC video reporting him arriving at court and it showed the Snappy Snaps shop and somebody has written Wham! on the spot where he crashed into the shop, I was crying with laughter.

If he's lucky.
He may do a song about his time in that place
for just 4 weeks.

Thats not strictly true, he could spend a lot less or a lot more inside.
When you get sentenced to a period less than a year, your sentence is automatically halved this is remission a sort of good behaviour sweetener.
If he gets in bother they can remove periods od remission so that he could spend up to the whole 8 weeks inside, if he gets in more trouble he could stay in even longer than the 8 week sentence.
However its more likely that he wont even do his 4 weeks, due to overcrowding and relative mildness of the offence he may get tagged and released after a couple of weeks.
