CBB5 was already failing before the row (in terms of entertainment and ratings).
BB7 ruined the format, it exhausted every twist in the book.

Poor Jo, she got totally beasted for that. It was Jack Tweed who was the worst. Also Jade and Jade's mum.

I agree, Danielle Lloyd was the worst, yet the least damaged? :nono:

No it did not kill Big Brother
its going on Ch5.


Ch4 can no longer afford it
that is the real story.

A combination of things really, but I think this was the main trigger that started the downfall. After this they became slaves to ofcom and tightened up on everything; fighting, and drinking being the main two.

It wasn't a race row, more a clash of classes. And yes it did eventually lead to the death of BB. BB8 being prime example. BB never recovered.

Jo O'Meara didnt do too much wrong, just got in with the wrong crowd. It was that skank Danielle Lloyd and Jade Goody and her scummy family who did the damage.

It was a racist driven attack. It had issues of class war too. You can not say the things she said and then just hold your hands up and say your not racist. The woman was an ignorant fool who thought the whole world revolved around her and should have kept her rancid mouth shut.

Not the row in itself because Big Brother, like any other reality-TV show, needs controversy to be on the public eye.

It was the way it was held by OfCom and Channel 4 that killed the show.
