We've gradually become USA's bitch,
Foreign migrants moaned about the church ringing their bells on St.George's day.
and
We were slated for donning the national flag during the World Cup in our country at the risk of offending immigrants.

Do we try to hard to please others?

Yes, I believe we do. And the really annoying thing is that the immigrants don't want it to be like this either!

To be fair, that thing about not being able to fly the england flag during the world cup was bull, and most stories about immigrants moaning about things like Church bells are blown way out of proportion

My brother in law works for the Home Office and last Christmas, they weren't allowed to call their do a "Christmas Party" it had to be a "Festive celebrartion" (or something like that anway) Christmas lights had to called something else aswell.. It's just ridiculous! But the muslims etc that work beside my BIL are as outraged as everybody else, they don't want it to be like that because of the bad feeling it causes.. It just seems to be getting worse too!
