brilliant casting.
Oh, and actors you would have loved to see play a particular role.
My first for terrible casting would be the majority of films with Keanu Reeves in them.
And I would have loved to have seen Tom Selleck play Indiana Jones. I know I'm on my own with that one though!

Please don't get me started on Keanu!! He's awful in everything he does!
Evening Beastie :wavey:
Good casting... Daniel Day Lewis as The Butcher in Gangs of New York.
In fact that's not really good casting, the man's just a work of art!!

I don't mind Keanu in the Matrix. He is okay in Bill and Ted.. but other than that.. he doesn't seem to be a "gripping actor". An actor that can draw the audience really into them. If you know what I mean?

Ashton Kutcher in basically everything since the that's 70's show. Sorry girls, the guy can't act.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean.. He's just wooden! There's nothing likeable about him at all!
Speed was a lovely little film  ruined by him!

Manhunter is my favourite out of them all. Dark, sinister and atmospheric. Really 80's though.

Reminds me of another piece of bad casting. Richard Pryor should have been in Blazing Saddles - he co-wrote the thing - but the producers wouldn't allow it because of his history and risque stand up shows, so they opted for some dullard instead.

Yeah, I was really disappointed with The Shining, I had kind of built it up in my mind as being one of the best films ever and was excited about seeing it!
