TBH I doubt this is actually a celebrity version. Series 5 is 30 days long and series 6, another 30 day long, will air straight after series 5 so the filming for those must have rapped up already. Series 7 is confirmed to be 50 days long IIRC and they must be filming for that about now so I doubt they could find enough celebs for 50 days.

Apparently the coach trip kicked off in Prague on Tuesday and according to Imogen Thomas's twitter she and Bianca Gascoigne flew out to Prague on Monday for their "adventure", so am guessing those two are also on it.


And this is the confirmation from Raef's twitter:

Yep THAT Imogen, and according to Brendan, she's become very feisty and had several arguments on the Coach... not with Ben though, he liked her and he became good pals with Bianca as well. If you go to the wikipedia site, it gives you the results of each series so far that's finished. I think a mother and son won the one you mentioned if that is the one where the son chats up the girls who looked after the Ponies. I liked those two, so was glad they won.

As for where he is now, I'd rather remember him with fondness as a hoousemate, than seeing him flogging whatever fading popularity the other desperate wannabees are touting. I think it's the katie Price syndrome, any publicity is validation, nothing interesting to say or offer, just exposure in the media, and for what?

Mario will be remembered for what he brought to the series, not for what he scrabbling around in a last ditch desperate attempt to be something and perhaps be friends with Kerry Katona......is all that crap worth it?????/

Mario brought nothing to the BB series, he wasn't particularly funny and his claim to fame is running around the house naked and lusting after the guys in there.

So much for Mario, Now to Ben who is a celebrity, he is well known by the public, he has a good following of fans and supporters who watch for and will be glued to all he does on TV,even if he does a radio interview,they are there too.

His celebrity status will grow because the people who became fans after his public time on BB will ensure demand for him and to see him continues.

The chat show idea has not to my knowledge been dismissed, there are still many things in the pipeline for him to decide doing.

He has taken time out to do this coach trip programme,now to be on the TV too, and I have no doubt he will be soon again on the TV, as his celebrity status becomes stronger in many areas both in a serious journalistic sense but also as to the entertainment sense.

Mario could only dream of such status and will have to settle to sit and stare in awe at Bens success.

Ben is unique and that is his appeal, you dont get him which is fine, I doubt he would get you either.

I hardly ever discuss M as I really don't care. Brendan and Ben actually got on really well and its only a gameshow......Before going into BB Ben was doing well and unlike other housemates he's kept his head down and the work is flowing in. He doesn't twitter desperately and do twitter cams or come on DS to tell his followers to buy him a parrot. So to put it bluntly he is the only one just getting on with his life and people are actually interested in him and seek him out. :dazzler:

Depressed people do this ... Ben's parlous situation in that house was I think leading him into a quite severe depression ...

He normally laughs in the most joyous and innocent way all the time ...

I heard precious little of that from him ... when I just occasionally heard him laughing like his normal self my heart leapt ... but it was so rare

He is himself again now ... amazingly undamaged by all the horror ...

Because it started on Monday September 13th which was the day of the Big Brother Party (remember that?) and I think Raef had something on as well - so they were picked up in the early hours of Tuesday September 14th and flew off to Prague to join the merry throng slightly late

Just watched the show and much as it was great to see Ben & Raef, I think they are going out 'first' - by the sounds of things: Ricky & 'Trevor' def have taken instant dislike to them, as have Ingrid and the other EE woman. hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and these pair will have it in for Ben and Raef at the next vote: I'm sure.

shame as I was looking forward to seeing what I thought would be a likable guy in the 'Trevor' chap. Something about Ingrid Tarrant, can't put my finger on it - but makes me dislike her. I did have to laugh when Brendan asked her where she normally holidays - in fairness, all she was doing was answering his question - and Brendan cattily cut her off by saying, "Ingrid, name dropping already". :hugesmile::hugesmile: Oh Brendan,you bitch...but funny!:hugesmile:

When Ben and Raef arrived: seeing them sitting on the coach, they looked like 2 naughty schoolboys, sitting politey but itching to get up to mischief :devil:....... and they looked as cute as anything, but I have to say, I didn't like Raef's arrogance showing when he was asserting that he & Ben were 'the celebrities' in comparison to everyone else.

Yes, 'Trevor' and Ricky were displaying inverted snobbery - but Raef's comments were equally as bad on a snobbish level: given that 3 were EE actors, 1 was from BB, and then the Chuckle Brothers - all involved in 'stereotypical' shows that normally have working class audiences in the main (if that makes sense). Any fan of EE would have most likely have viewed the EE crew as the 'celebs' - it all depends on what people have an interest in. So sorry Raef, but I think you displayed too much arrogance there.

I'm just thankful that Ben didn't actually vocalise this himself, instead, chosing to have that carefully thought out expression on his face as though he was 'mulling over Raef's comment rather than agreeing with it'.

On the flip side - I do think the pair of them are going to be a laugh - and if given time - others on the coach would most likely see that too but I think they both missed out on bonding even for that one day - and their late arrival has automatically put them at a distinct disadvantage. If only they had been there for the ballet lessons, they might have had a chance to bond with Ricky and Trevor (all men having a laugh dressed in tutus etc) and it may have been the opportunity to 'win R&T' over. I think that they will be the first to go. :bawling::bawling:

For Chuckle Brother fans.... sorry..... I have never liked them, and still don't. Not into slapstick comedy. A joke wears thin as well as punchlines/catch lines, didn't find them amusing at all.

Thing is, I liked and loathed Raef in equal measures on The Apprentice -he does himself an absolute disservice with that edge to him.

Well Raef refers to a "few days" in his interview so fingers crossed. As for Ingrid Tarrant, her one claim to fame is that she was married to Chris Tarrant! Carol Harrison played Bianca's mum in Eastenders and I haven't seen her in anything since. They both strike me as boring.
As for the Chuckle Brothers, I remember taking my kids to watch them live about 15 years ago, and they're not exactly high profile tv entertainers any more, so Raef's assumption was reasonable.

Imogen and Bianca seem okay so far, and I understand Bianca and Ben hit it off so am looking forward to seeing their interaction. (Ben does love brunettes doesn't he? (preens self):blush2:

I always suspected that Hannah only married him because he is practically a clone of her dad, Dennis. But I guess you can only take so much of an incredibly thick individual.

Caught up with the last 2 shows last night. What an unpleasant pair that Alex and Ricky are - I don't mean just re Ben & Raef - I mean generally. They go about flashing in the beer baths, some people might have thought it funny, some didn't but they were still banging on about it - Alex giving it big licks.

You can tell, though, that Ben is baffled, and a little hurt, as to why he attracts such negativity - he does nothing to merit it. Even Brendan, whom I like, is starting to make some snidey comments.
