People Who Play-up Being Dumb

Really annoy me! Ive noticed a few people at my school who do this (some I actually quite like/d). They act in a so 'I totaaaally dont get anyfinnn' way because it gets people fussing around them, and well, oddly its deemed cool. But srs why would you wanna make yourself look like a thick sh!t? Some of these people are actually really clever when it comes to pen + paper too.

Yeah it's annoying really. Some girls can pull of the ditzy thing but it does get annoying after a while.

Yeah i don't like it either, i know a particular girl at my school who acts like a dumb **** all the time yet gets A's in just about every exam, just puts it on i think.

Also yeah I actually hate it. There's a girl in my school who I really used to like, and now I've noticed her acting thick all the time and it's so obvious that she's fake. She also got 96% on this science test with doing no revision, and she's in all the top sets so yeah.

But it really annoys me if people genuinely don't know things, then when they ask they get accused of being fake. Because like maybe they don't know stuff about that certain thing but more about other things if that makes sense.

As long as people can read what I am saying then that's fine.
Yeah there are a lot of genuinely thick/ditzy people out there who will be accused of being fake or OTT.
To be honest.. when I am around people.. I am not close to.. sometimes I am OTT because I am so nervous. Don't act thick though! If I know the answer to something then I will say so!! lol

To be honest.. when I was at school I can't remember people "acting" thick. This was when I was at school 5 or more years ago.

You used to get picked on if you appeared to be stupid, lacked intelligence etc.. or get laughed at if a teacher asked you a question and you didn't know the answer.

There was no accusations like.. "you are pretending to be thick" lol.

I think nowadays maybe people don't care about intelligence.

Anyway.. as long as your a decent, nice-ish person that is all that matters!
