Shayne Ward's new single preview + album news

The album is titled 'Obsessions'. About time. Really looking forward to hearing his material though, Shayne is probably my favourite XF winner.

New single is called 'Gotta Be Somebody'. Released on 7th November, with the album following a week later on the 15th November.

I think I heard that too, so it must've been.

But as far as I can remember, this third album was originally due for release in summer 2009. Can't remember why it was held back, I think they wanted to start from scratch. It's a long time overdue though, so I'm hoping for good things. Apparently he's been working with RedOne and Taio Cruz.

Ah cheers, and yeah Im also glad Shayne is back - always thought he was a very deservable winner!

Oh, and according to a few articles, it does indeed seem Simon is giving his full backing to his comeback, which is surprising, but very good.

True but I read in an interview that for the past 3 years he's been doing writing camps for new songs, so I expected a new song as his comeback single. Apparently he had some songs from RedOne and Taio Cruz but none of them made the album. That could be a big mistake seeing as most stuff from them two usually do well in the charts.
