If you could have the possibility to have a charge in the government of your country, what position you would choose, and why?

Good question - I don't think I'd be fit for politics at all. Every single decision, thought and utterance you make being scrutinised...

That said I'd rather be the Cabinet Minister for Culture, Arts and Media (is that still a position? I seem to recall it being one), simply because it'd be the one I feel most passionate about. Managing the Olympics would be lovely.

Not exactly the Government but I would be The President of Ireland (yeah we have a President and no she does nothing)

I'd definitely vote for you. Then you'd take me as Prime Minister and Kimi as Minister of Sports and Health.

Oh I like! but seriously there is no point in having a President, she doesn nothing, never has, never will. (waits for other Irish people to tear my statement apart)

Anyway, to answer my own question, I think I'd love to be in charge of Economics, Business and Foreign Affairs because this is where I am good at, this is what my studies are all about. I feel strongly opinionated and passionate about this, I've got some good ideas to improve things.

To me, Economics explain a lot of things in today's society and is probably the most influential out of a government. You either hit or flop, but either way, you'll be remembered for having an influence on the country.

2011 unless it gets fooked up like the last one!

Also look at who's running:

Former prime Minister (An Taoiseach in Irish) - the man who destroyed Ireland.
George Hook - Irish Rugby Comentator (no joke he's actually runnung).
Gerry Adams - Rumoured leader/member of The IRA.
Miriam O'Callaghan - Irish TV chat host.

I mean cmon for **** sake

I don't think I could possibly resist being Prime Minister, especially considering the disproportionate amount of power the Prime Minister is afforded in Britain.

My second choice would be transport minister as I believe the state of the UK's infrastructure is dire for such a wealthy country.

Third choice would be chancellor if it gave me the opportunity to sort out the pitiful situation of tens of billions government money being wasted on those poisonous private finance initiatives.

Fourth choice would be culture minister, so I could drastically cut all the money wasted on boring, populist projects like military museums and air shows and re-allocate it to fund the arts.

It's Irish I suggest you get clued in on stuff before you go round accusing people of stuff. Take that as a warning, don't insult other members.

Umm, i accused her of wanting to say something anti-American, because PATRICK is well known for being anti-American.

Isn't that the point she was making when she said "I wish Patrick was around"?

Do you honestly think that is unfair to say?

Just out of curiosity which part was "insulting" to her? That I thought she was a male? or that I thought she was Chinese?

'Cause i don't think it's insulting to be eigther of the two. So where was the insult?
