Lol, I've been told that before and while it doesn't sound pleasant, men's genetalia is an organ but on the outside of the body so it's easily suseptible to pain. I think the only sure fire way would be to have a female-to-male transsexual's honest opinion as they're the only people able to experience both. As the testicles are prosthetic, they dont have the same nerves in them or around them that a male has.
