BB9- A re-watch, thoughts two years on, one week in,

Alex- God she is horrible. Chip-gate was so ott, I hate the way she's always trying to be the centre of attention.

Dale- On the first week he's been so boring, in his VT he bigged himself up and hasn't lived up to it. Extremely boring. If it wasn't for the Jen relashionship so far he'd be nothin.

Darnell- A character, not standing out too much at the moment. But he'll stand out more later.

Dennis- Hate him. Drama queen. Alex's little hench-man.

Jen- Very opiniated. Dosen't want to be put in a group. I like her although I'm just not getting what she's about.

Kat- Hirarious, love her, great housemate and stands out over the first week.

Lisa- Much better housemate than Mario- she's being over-shone on the first week.

Luke- Nice lad, squeky voice was my first impressions, two years on I feel the same, starts to be entertaining when the Bex thing starts.

Mario- God help us, has to be one of the most annoying housemates. Dislike him v.much atm.

Mo- Good housemate, not been given much screen-time so far.

Mikey- 'I don't want to play the blind card' His DR entries are good, enjoying watching him so far. Shows that disabled housemates can be entertaining (*cough, re:steve)

Rachel- TBH she is a lovely housemate and has really shone in the first weeks, honestly she's stood out. IS the girl in the VT atm.

Bex- A laugh, highlight so far for me was the skinny dipping, funny housemate and up for a laugh.

Rex- Awsome housemate, stirring things up, not afraid of Alex. Probs my favourite so far along with Kat.

Steph- Just finished her eviction. Mario should have gone. If she;d have stayed longer she'd have had so much more to give.

Sylvia- Sheep. In electric shock task as soon as Alex took off her suit sh followed.


What did you think of each BB9 housemate first off? And after a re-watch how did your opinions change>?

All I can remember seeing on the first week was Mario, Lisa, Steph and Luke going on about the secret task.

I agree, the highlight of the series was from the beginning up until Sylvia and Jen left. It was very entertaining. But I think Sylvia, Alexandra, Jen, Dennis, and Steph all were great "opposing characters" that didn't get on with others in the house and it would have been better if they stayed in longer. Luckily Rebecca, Luke, Rex, and Sara were still there in the mean time to keep the season going. And Lisa was a good housemate as well.

Stuart, Dale, Mario, Mo, Mikey, Rachel, etc were all boring pain in the asses though. Sure Dale and Stuart provided some funness to the house but overall they were both very dull and forgettable, they are really only remembered for their looks. And Kathreya got very very annoying after about Week 4 or 5.

I didn't like BB9 that much after I first finished it, but looking back now it was a really good series. I still think it was overrated though, and BB10 was better.

What are you talking about?
It's the most under rated of them all.

BB10 hardly had anything apart from good housemates where as Big Brother 9 alot like BB6 and BB5 had the production team on board to make it amazing.

I don't know how you can say BB9 had the production team on board to make it amazing. The few good housemates of that series had nothing to work with. The production was awful. Jail/No Tolerance was a big waste of time, noms pod waste, crappy unoriginal twists. BB5 and 6 had original and well executed tasks and twists with good housemates too.
