does anyone else think it was a rubbish idea to change it to over 28's?

The girls category was already strong enough (Gamu, Katie, Rebecca and Cher). Now they have Treyc in that group meaning 2 strong girls are gonna miss out, she could have took an over 25 spot nicely.

It's a but pointless raising it 3 years. If you're gonna raise it atleast raise it to 30. And they should of raised it next year not halfway through this years bootcamp.

Maybe its because the over 25's is never a strong category, so now they have had to made it weak again by bumping up the age. Someone who wins in the boys or girls category is seen as younger and more likely to sell records because of this. Awful i know but true.

Yes,it was rediculous to raise the limit at this stage, its just Simon showing he can do anything he likes. 28 is a a daft ceiling figure anyway. It has made it harder for Louis but it also means sme other good talent will miss out in the Boys and Girls too as the places remain at 3 for the finals.
No one knew which judge had which category when he raised the age limit though,so he didn't do it just to spite Louis.

The over 25s were just gaining a bit of credibility after being very strong in series 5 and 6, but now they're back to square one of being the club singers noone wants. I expect the next move will be to ditch the over 28s completely and merge them into the boys and girls category

It was unfair as someone else pointed out, the boys/girls already had strong contenders, some very strong people got knocked out because of it

yeah poor louis because now the boys category is too strong and theres basically just mary in the overs but to be honest shes good and i like her but she won't win. they shoulda left matt in the overs to at least give louis a chance!!
