I'll say Micheal Keaton, I love the Chris Nolan films but Christian Bale doesn't leave much of an impression as Batman.

I just find he gets outdone by everyone else in the films, except for Katie Holmes.... I don't dislike him but I can't say he's memorable in the role either.

Christian Bale and its not even close. He is the best actor out of the bunch and his Batman movies were MUCH better than the others.

Michael Keaton! Very slick and stylised.

I quite liked Christian Bale but he just growls too much and I think nowadays Bale is typecast because he seems to play the same kind of character in Terminator Salvation.

Val Kilmer was actually quite good and Forever is associated too much with Schumacher's other film, Batman & Robin. But he pouted a lot and still pales in comparison to Keaton.

Clooney and West can fight it out over who's the most camp but I think Clooney was the worst. He told Total Film he played Batman gay. Why? I do not know. I'm not against gay superheroes, apparently Batwoman is a lesbian, but Batman has been in the spotlight a lot longer and to change his sexuality as well as giving him rubber nipples and a phallic Batmobile was absurd
