Yep. It kind of invalidates the boot camp and judges house phases. It seems clear that the performances in those phases dont matter and it seems to be down to whether the mentor likes your 'swagger'. At some point during the live shows Simon will smugly state that this is a talent competition . No its not and it hasnt been for quite a while. Maybe even never.

As long as they give the songs their own unique spin then they could bring something special to the show. Its essentially about choosing songs that compliment your vocal abilities and suit your own style. Not everybody needs to sing big songs with a big voice.

How is it clear Cher and Katie have a passion for music? Surely if they had a passion they'd have been more ready for their performances at Cheryls house. In fact I think the opposite is true. Well, as far I am concerned, Cheryl had the strongest talent but has put the weakest,excluding Rebecca from that, through to the finals.
Cheryl has just made a mockery of having the judges houses for the main testing of the acts.
I think jedward fever and others have a point as to her reasoning of who she did not put through, quite astonishing that 2 acts that came nowhere near finishing their songs or performing well either,went through over others who put their all into their performance.
Cheryl has weakened her category massively and I hope Louis in particular will point that out at every chance he gets,that she put the weaker acts through from a strong category overall.

Both Simon and Louis have had MANY failed acts. Louis has been dining out on Boyzone and Westlife(both huge covers acts) for over 10 years. Until talent shows gave him more acts to manage he struggled to have any other successes. Thats the truth of it.

Gamu or Treyc's gonna be back come saturday anyway since the other acts don't stand a chance in the wildcard. Cher was a mistake but I can see why she chose Katie, she's different and has an intriguing voice. It's not always about singing ability but style and substance. Look at Leona, all voice no substance or atistic merit.

I'm hoping for Gamu for the wild card although I'd support Treyc if it was her although she'd be this year's Rachel.
