She's done plenty of sobbing though. Such a drama queen. I don't see how not having a sob story entitles you to a place in the final 12. I thought the idea was that you had to be able to sing well without breaking down in front of the judges. Clearly I was wrong judging by Cheryls poor decision making.

The way this woman has been treated by the press is, frankly, appalling. I'm surprised that the papers can have the audacity and cruelty to tarnish an innocent person's reputation in that way. I also blame the show itself, for dealing poorly with the Gamu situation. Instead of being honest with the public they hushed it all up and let the other contestants bare the brunt of it all. I watched her most recent sing off (Save Me From Myself - Christina Aguilera) and she really was much better than Aiden, on that sing off. I don't think that she sings better under pressure, she just sings better when she makes her own song choices.

The public are morons. One hint of controversy or surprise in the results and they switch on their laptops and bash out "FIX FIX FIX" repeatedly like a bunch of kids. They seriously are effing idiots. "da votez r rigged! i am discustid. matt 2 winn. h8 dat katie WEEZLE." It makes me pity them and their illiteracy (according to the Guardian, we have a 1% illiteracy rate in the UK. They obviously never read X Factor forums.)

I totally agree, the way Katie has been treated by the press and the hate groups is absolutely disgraceful!! Those involved in such pinicious hate campaigns should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. Just relistened to Saturday's performance on the opening post link. Even better than what I remembered. Brilliant vocally, brilliant performance and none of the pointless arrangements that some of the other contestants do to showcase their voice and murder the melody, the musical arrangement was bloody incredible.

Overall Simon was right, sheer genius. Possibly the performance of the series.

Well she did seem to do her shopping trips with Mary latterly and I suppose she would have to nom. one of her stable mates too to please Cheryl.
