Does anyone else nickname their stuff?

I was just wondering. I'm always nicknaming my things (mainly my gadgets). E.g:
-MacBook = Maccington
-HTC Magic (my phone) = Merlin
-PS3 = Gloss
-Bluetooth headset for PS3 = Chatty the 2nd (Chatty the 1st died lol)
-Desktop PC = The dinosaur
-iPod Touch = Podsy
-Our car (Renault Scenic) = Reney

Lol am I the only person who does stuff like this?? :joker:

not things but all my dogs have nicknames i have 5 whippets.
zak is square head or mucko
kez is teeny or minatuare (sp)
nikki is the hoon
gem is blakie or nabs or blacknabs
rio is digga or diggsy
and they all come 2 thier nicknames especialy square head lol

I had Percy, a green nano, but he died, and so did the trend. My yellow one is called Sonny.

I normally hate them but I like the one living in my mirror. It keeps me company on long journeys or when waiting at traffic lights :)

Lol my iPod is called Podsy or Podpod but I don't use him anymore cause he's broken - I dropped him and now he only plays music out of one ear, with every pair of headphones. So I'm saving up for a new one and he shall be called Podsy the 2nd! :hugesmile:

Nope, and I do have things that are precious to me, I just never felt the urge to call my stuff by a different name. I call my boots - boots, my laptop - laptop, my phone is just my phone, I guess I'm a bit boring that way.

Naa you're not boring, I've always thought I was weird nicknaming stuff. My family/mates look at me funny when I say hi to my MacBook lol. But thats not the worst thing I do, I actually hug Maccington (MacBook) every day and talk to him lol. I'm very strange. :blush2:
