Thought they might have used last years one again. I hope I like the new one! Wonder if it will be red themed like last year or blue themed like the 3 years before?

I wonder if they've just made some minor alterations that make it appear bigger [and Sinitta is just over exaggerating it] or if they've actually constructed a completely new set? I'm surprised...I can't see how they can make it any bigger. Fountain Studios isn't that big...

I wasn't keen at first but grew to love it as the series went on, one thing that did annoy me though was how there were three doors and four categories/judges [I'm a perfectionist, you see]. But I too loved the Series 5 set.

Last year's set was red themed on Saturday's and blue themed on Sunday's.

That was something I liked [except the ugly yellow lighting on the floor that ruined it. Again, I'm a perfectionist :p].

Hope its not too big as that nelly woofter Brian will insist on filling it with his shytty HSM choreography.

And the cameras will be all over the place...except on the actual singer, y'know, the one we actually want to see!

You never know it could be green or yellow themed! I hope not though. And I agree that the series 3-5 stage was stupid with 3 doors for 4 catagories! :)

I can't even remember the stages tbh. Obviously not geeky enough.

Well, there was only 3 categories in series 3 so they obviously couldn't be arsed adding a fourth door for 4 and 5 without redesigning the whole set. But I hated that set, it was like a thin strip around the studio. I remember in series 3 after performing the acts had to walk a mile to the otherside to talk to Kate Thornton. Remember that girl in a wheelchair whizzing across aswell.
Last years was much better with an actual open stage area for performing (although the drawback was that American twat filling it with atrocious props).

Just watched series 1 clip of G4 and the set for that year looks so tacky with the giant X and the audience looks so small compared to nowadays.

In series 3 I remember they seemed to have Kate presenting from a little podium in the corner when they had a massive stage to use, it looked ridiculous

It was too big last year IMO so there was no reason to make it any bigger.....

Simon always thinks bigger is better. He's not one for thinking outside the box.

The season 5 set was the best, nice and spacious and I loved the little walkway by the judges.

Does that woman actually think we care what shoes she has on. We never even see her anyway. And from that angle it looks like the BB10 set.

Are you sure it isn't just the same lighting that was used on the results show last year. Maybe its a slightly darker colour but it looks quite similar to me.

It looks more purple-ish to me. If you look in the top left of the picture they have a purple 'X' - like the one they used at Bootcamp this year.

This was last years Result Show - skip to 02:00
