Cher 'given vitamin injections for nerves'

X Factor contestant Cher Lloyd has reportedly been given vitamin injections to help fight her nerves ahead of tonight's first live show.

According to The Sun, the singer's mentor Cheryl Cole recommended that she visit a Harley Street clinic for a vitamin B12 shot after complaining of exhaustion.

A source said: "She's an arrogant teenager who is getting way too big for her boots. But deep down she is absolutely terrified. She's suffering from extreme stage fright.

"Cheryl suggested these injections and said she'd had them before to give her an energy boost. Cher will do anything Cheryl says. She's the only person she listens to."

It is also claimed that Lloyd has fallen out with the other finalists in her category, Rebecca Ferguson and Katie Waissel.

The source added: "There is tension between the girls because of Cher. She's made herself quite unpopular."

Cheryl is playing with fire here. As much as I dont rate Cher but if she needs a 'boost' to sing then she's clearly not strong enough or stable enough for this long gruelling competition. Lets hope Cher doesnt break down a la Susan Boyle.

It's the same with nearly all showbiz stories, one day they might write something like 'Matt Smith is bowing out of Doctor Who' even though he might not be and then the next day they can say 'Matt Smith has confirmed he's staying on' and then you've got an article sorted out for two days.

'Sources' is generally a special media word for Bullsh*t. They print lies and fall back on 'Sources' since they don't have to reveal what their sources are and the Celebs or people in question can deny whatever the claim is and it's still a story.

Slating yes... but not over nothing. She messed up her audition. Didn't you see it? Her performance sucked the big one... so in retrospect, she should suck up the criticism and thank Cheryl Cole for being intimidated by women who really can sing.
