What really was the point in the 'Twist'?

Yeah i didnt get it either, it was obviously just to get more press attention and people wondering what the 'BIG TWIST' was which failed because we found out on the same night.

Realised they didnt have any fun/wierd/crazy acts - now got Diva Fever and Wagner, which add something different to the show.

Wanted Treyc to get her shot at it too.

A better twist would be that the judges have to pick 1 act to keep from the 2 bottom acts of their categories.

The point was they're trying to act all fresh with twists and double evictions and they just fail at copying the daddy of Reality TV god rest his soul.

This is the final series so I doubt they will lol I think it doesn't work well tbh, it seems so crowded I liked the original line up although I'm happy for Paije.

I think they realised after choosing their 3 that they all had other acts they also wanted in. So came up with this. I dont think it was devised to be a twist...they just made it into one.

Big Brother doesn't have twists copyrighted you know, Wildcards and double evictions have been done before in talent shows for years. They did a double exit in X Factor in Leona's year.

Also if this is the last X Factor ever then I'm Judi Dench, 10 million+ viewers a show, ITV or Simon Cowell wouldn't give up that share. Never take anything on X Factor at face value.

Again, I think it was a late decision which they decided to make into a twisty surprise thingy.

As far as I could understand it they were leaving a loophole open for Gamu to re-enter the show BUT that would have meant Cheryl had 4 acts leaving the other judges with only 3 so they gave ALL the judges wild cards.

As it turned out Gamu couldn't re-enter anyway but at least it hasn't done the show any harm... just shows that Cheryl really did fck up and Trayc should have been picked over useless Katie anyway!!! :D
