Many artists say they channel another character when performing. Its very normal so I dont get why you think its a big deal.

Again, nobody cares if its entertaining. Do you think she dresses like she did last night in her real life? Do you think Aiden acts all psycho like he did in his performance in real life too?

Its performing. Acting is part of all performance.

A lot of singers make a character for themselves when they go on stage, Beyonce is Sasha Fierce and Alexandra Burke is 'The Beast'. It helps them with their performance because they can effectively put a guard up and pretend to be someone else

Her performance tonight made me notice her for once. Her voice has something unique. But song choice is crucial.

Queen is not for her ffs. I dont get what these judges are thinking sometimes!

If cheryl just keeps it simple like tonight and not go ott on outfits and gimmiks she will go far. She is special

She had to make up a character in order to sing the same line over and over again. She must be some kind of genius method performer.
