How can people say Mary is crap?

I basically wrote this in the main X Factor thread. She won't win and be a success, we won't see her in a leotard singing songs similar to Bad Boys but she has one hell of a voice and adds a bit of stability to a singing competition because she can actually sing. That slant otherwise isn't there amongst a 'quirky' set of contestants, ie Rebecca, Katie, Aiden et al

On voice alone shes one of the best contestants X Factor has ever had. I honestly don't get how people can say that shes rubbish and shouldn't have got through amongst other ridicule

Agree completely. She has one of the best voices ever on the x factor but unfortunately there will be idiot voters who vote for the **** ones like Cher and Katie instead and she won't really get a chance at winning. She probably would have had a better chance on Britains Got Talent. I love her though and would love her to go far.

I love her, not a favourite of mine, mind, but she was far and away the best on Saturday night. Flawless vocal. Great personality too, the only thing she is lacking is the 'look' [though that can't be helped, although I suppose it didn't matter for Susan Boyle] and stage presence, although hopefully we'll see some of that in the coming weeks.

She was exceptional on Saturday, and don't forget that they're not using autotune this year. A wonderful performance... one of the best I've ever seen on the show.
