ITV breakfast show Daybreak is getting its own makeover after ratings slumped to a new low this week.

A month after its launch bosses are considering making Lorraine Kelly the main presenter on a completely revamped show in the New Year - because she is the only person on the sofa viewers like.

Research showed the much-trumpeted pairing of Christine Bleakley and Adrian Chiles had viewers turning off in droves.

I assume they're thinking of combining Daybreak (what a **** name) and Lorraine into one long show and making Lorraine the main host.

Neither does the show. I don't watch ITV in the mornings anymore and I have for as long as I remember. I watch Sky News/Sky Sports News now then over to ITV at 8.30am for Lorraine :blush2:

I used to get up to watch GMTV now i forget it and just get up for Lorriane :D there was nothing wrong with GMTV it was perfect for ITV.

I am a Lorraine fan and i am a daytime tv aholic aswell i used to deny it but i don't anymore.

Jeremy Kyle is epic and he's on inbetween Lorraine and This Morning so its just easier to keep ITV1 on all morning

Not her accent, its her way of talking.

I am not the best to comment though as I ahrdly ever watch or wnat to watch morning TV, unless someone is on I want to see and I am able to catch it that day.

She certainly thinks she's funny,I cannot stand the way she brown noses the 'celebs' and then slates them.

I liked Fiona, maybe not for the right reasons but she was hilarious in the mornings. Her foot was always in her mouth

Jackie Brambles did Lorraines show on Friday, I think she'd be really good on Daybreak and shes done GMTV before
