and apparently she has a sore throat too, so if she doesn't quit then we'll probably get that illness rubbish.

What is this crap about a bullying campaign?
Who is supposed to be bullying her?
TBH I think in the sing off on the results show she deserved to stay over FYD but I don't think she is as good as she thinks she is at all.I find her very up her own ass and cant take to her at all .
Is it the other finalists that are supposed to be bullying her or is it some of the public saying they don't think she is good enough to be there?

well, I had a quick scan through of that article and apparently there is some sort of internet campaign telling people not to vote for her. Personally I don't believe she would get many votes anyway and deserved to be in the bottom on Sunday. Her performance was terrible.

But it's the X factor,there is probably a Internet campaign against all of the finalist's.If she has enough fans to save her then she will be grand.It's not as if the campaign can stop her fans voting for her.Her mammy needs to stop with this bullying crap IMO,just because she is not one the favourites does not make her a victim.I wonder if Katie was the favourite to win would they even have mentioned the internet campaign

she's just pissed off that people don't love her and can't accept it's because she just isn't that good! She has conveniently forgotten that people didn't want Cher through either but she wasn't in the bottom because her performance wasn't a disaster like hers was.

well, if you think about it people who don't like Katie weren't going to vote for her anyway and If you do like her some internet campaign telling you not to vote for her isn't actually going to make you not vote for her so I don't see what she's complaining about really.

She has got over the top bad press ever since the auditions.. and the Gamu thing made it worse, even though she had no say in it what's so ever Gamu was an illegal immigrant just because she is good at singing that shouldn't change what she is. therefore Katie deserved her place in the live shows, I do think she is talented and will grow in the Competition the longer she stays in.. Some people are to quick to Judge

No Cher hasn't, but Rebecca, Treyc and Mary all do if you base it on other women in the competition, and then you've got Aiden, Matt, Paije etc, all better singers than Katie as well. She just doesn't have the likeability factor either so I think she's going to find it really difficult to come back from being in the bottom last week.

The crowd loved her at her Audiction, but i reckon she isn't finding it hard to be herself on the live shows.. it looked like she was more confident in her Audition.. now her confidence has took a big knock thanks to all the ****e press about her.

Yeah maybe, that stupid outfit she was wearing last week certainly did her no favours, and she was better in the sing off, I still stand by my opinion that she just isn't as good as a lot of the other's though, she's not unique, not likeable, and I really think she's in trouble. Danyl got loads of bad press last year but he managed to turn it around, maybe she will too but I can't see it.

People didn't like what she wore on Saturday either and it looked like she was showing off,then when she was in the bottom 2 she proved she didn't need all that and she looked 'normal' and sang,i hope they cool down in the press about her.

lol. But I think you will find that the judges will do absolutely ANYTHING to make sure that they are both in the final, at the very least. Cowell almost voted against his own group to save Katie!!! And I am fed up of the press coverage of them. You would think they are the only 2 in the show......they aren't even the best singers in Cole's category! :nono:

Only people who dont like her would join in. It is really unlikely that someone who would have voted for her anyway(as they believe she is good) would not vote just to join in with it. I dont know if I put that across right...but it makes sense to me :laugh:

yeah, that's what I was trying to say earlier, If it was a vote to get rid of someone then maybe there might be something in it but like all they can ask is to do nothing as such, which anyone who doesn't like her will be doing of their own accord!

I hope she stays. Her performances are interesting but she does have a weakish voice.

Katie just needs to find the right sound. She has a unique voice, ballads or fast paced songs dont suit her but a folky/indie type of sound will.

No actually in this case I don't see that as bullying,just immature comments.Every finalist will have stupid comments like that posted about them but Katie,who has more experience than most in the lime light (her own reality tv show & record deal) is the only one claiming it's bullying.If she wasn't putting her self out there and nobody knew who she was then yeh ,I would find those comments offensive.
Again Aidan has been called a psychopathic murderer,Mary has had alot of rude comments about her weight ,but it's only Katie & co calling it bullying.
I wish people would stop with this "HATE" crap also.
It's a TV show and if people don't take to some contestants they should be allowed to say so without been accused of hating

perhaps but now we're into the live shows with all the best of the bunch (well to an extent!) she is no where near the top of the heap.

True. She is very weak in delivery of the songs, had totally the wrong song for her, I don't think Louis cares a great deal for her either.
I wasn't impressed with her sing off song either.Better than the Queen song but still nothing to write home about, no real convincing performance.

well there's no question that her sing off song was miles better than her sat night song, also she was better than FYD but I'd like to see her in a sing off with Mary, TreyC, Rebecca, Matt, Aiden or Paije!! I think she'd struggle to beat Belle Amie, One direction or Storm also.

Yeah I doubt there's any truth in this; there've been claims Storm is going to quit blah blah blah... They all had to jump through a few hoops to get to the live shows, nobody is going to quit and I think they're bound by some kind of contract anyway!
