Is there a song that you hold to the most personal to you?

For me, it's 'Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own'. Mostly because the song's about Bono's relationship with his late father - so for me there's that immediate rapport. I just think it's vocally raw, intensely personal and tragically sad. 'And it's you when I look in the mirror, and it's you that makes it hard to let go...'

For me it's Wild Horses by Natasha Bedingfield. I guess I find it personal to me because for a long time now I've felt trapped in my life like I know what I should be or really want to be like/doing but for some reason fear just stops me. So yeah, every word means alot to me.

It just reminds me of my Nan. All the times we argued and stuff (although it was never too serious), if i was to know what i know now, back then i'd of never of said/done stupid things to her. I know i was just a kid but i'll never forgive myself for that.

I know she loved me none the less but still. I was probably closer to her than my own parents (she practically brought me up), she passed away holding my hand two years ago. Like the song says 'I hurt myself by hurting you'.. so true! :(

Oh I love that song Shaun. It was on a Now CD when I used to get them and was so addicted to it and I loved how emotional it was. :)

Hmmm Im not sure really for myself, perhaps Jackson 5 - I'll Be There as I try to be there for those who I care for when they need me.

These are exactly my thoughts to the deceased, loving, funny and creative musician, whom I didn't know personally, but I looked up to all my life.
