Earlier this month I confirmed Song Star would be returning after The Champion well that time is now.

TiBB currently has no game on and it's almost been exactly a year since last year's Song Star!

This will most likely be the final series seeing as I will probably leave TiBB soon so sign up!

For those of you that didn't watch last year or weren't on TiBB here is what Song Star is all about!

Song Star is alot like X Factor but for those of you like myself that are too nervous to sing infront of people.

Each week contestants must pick a song to 'perform' and on Saturday, I, your host, will post each song from each contestant on TiBB.

Then, the public will vote [via private message] for the two or sometimes more, contestants they think had the best song choice.

The two people with the least votes will find themselves in the bottom 2 and one being eliminated.

Most weeks there will be a theme set by me for example last year we had things like:

Number Ones, Michael Jackson, Christmas Songs etc

Last year we also had judges and as I mentioned earlier this month, I've ditched the judges to create a more faster game rather than waiting for hours for judges to come online.

But yes basically it's exactly like X Factor only we base it on Songs and NOT Vocals.

There will be about 6 contestants [fewer than last year].

You ARE PERMITTED to join a group if you wish with another TiBB Member.

The winner of Song Star 2 will receive a lovely little award.

It may be worth pointing out that there's another thing changing this year but that won't be revealed until the launch of this series.

Not having any judges because they slowed down last year's game but PJ also asked that, and I told him it'd be cool to have people if they wanted to comment on the songs as that was good last year.

But they just wouldn't be able to vote people off in the bottom two lol If you wanted to do that you can :)

I'm pleased to say we received over 10 applications so thank you to all of you that applied!


I'll be deciding on the final contestants around tomorrow afternoon.

Keep an eye out here for upcoming things such as trailers and little snippets of information from application forms to tease you all! ;)



The contestants that get through will be notified on Thursday or Friday [Most likely Thursday] and then you'll be told what to do from there regarding the launch!


Song Star 2 will kick off this Saturday Night [Time N/A at the moment] where I'll reveal the all new contestants including a few twists to kick the new series off!

12 I think, there was a point I thought I'd get no more than like 6 lol But I think the bumping of the thread helped :)

I'm not sure if 12 is good for an average TiBB Game LOL But it's enough to begin the game lol So yeah :D
