View Full Version : John Adeleye So, I pose the question again - IS John going to be another Andy Abraham?

Yet again he's defeated the odds and survived another week. I doubt anyone saw that coming, especially after last week. Admittedly, his vocal was one of the best last night [even if his performance was again dull]...but he was average last week so how come he keeps surviving?

Can he defeat all the odds and go a long way in the series?

Why Andy? Nothing alike imo.

John is boring but I was sure he'd get through this week.

Yeah I think so. He was so on it last night, his vocals were amazing. Hope he goes far.

He was good last week and he was even better this week. He's a kind man, you can see it in his eyes, and as Dannii said, if you took away all the theatrics for every other act, you would realise how crap some of them are in comparison to John.

This series is very unpredictable at the moment due to how many acts there are; I think if there had only been the twelve of them, John may well have been gone by now, but acts that might otherwise been popular are falling by the wayside because people's support is being drawn to another act. He's a fantastic singer and he deserves to be there for a while yet.

Rachel topped last years voting in week 3 after being in the bottom 2 the previous 2 weeks. Using that as an unrelated example, anything can happen on this show

He was really good last night, I was glad he went through, I actually think anything is possible this year.

He won't survive the double eliminations, so he'll be gone in the next two weeks.

Theres still 12 acts left.

And he's nothing like Andy!

Andy had more personality, more story, more vocal range. etc etc

why did he go then if he had one of the biggest fan bases? :joker:

john obviously has fans, and people like him, otherwise he wouldn't be there!

To be fair having a big fanbase doesn't mean you're going to be voted for, look at Danyl last year...he ended up in the Bottom Two...oh, and Olly did as well...

Its not always about having a fanbase. Many viewers will just vote for the performance they enjoyed that night.

As such, John's performances have been a lot more pleasant than most.

Danyl was very popular...

Its all relative.

Bottom line; he wasn't popular enough to win the show or grab himself a music career from it.

But like I said, not all fans are going to vote for their favourite. I know I don't usually until the latter weeks. And I was referring to the early weeks with Danyl, really, when [IIRC] he was favourite to win. Once Joe had made an impact he was shoved to the side.

Bottom 2 means nothing- Cheryl herself was in the bottom 2 on Popstars

Completely different show in a completely different format; it doesn't apply to the X Factor. In the six seasons we've had of the X Factor; not once has a winner been in the bottom two.
