What exactly IS the "Subo Limelight"? Is it, like, having a MASSIVE fanbase, the fastest selling album in history and a career she probably should have had thirty years ago? Don't you count that as stardom? Why IS that? Do you have to be a certain age to be a star then? Or a certain type? I don't even like Susan Boyle but really, I think this is the most ridiculous comment of the day.

Not that keen on Mary. I kind of feel irritated that because someone has got a matronly shape (prematurely) they therefore deserve the sympathy vote and demand extra respect. Thinking Anne Widdecombe too in Strictly, who is probably much younger than the likes of Felicity Kendal*. Simon gets no age-related sympathy and he is older than Mary.


*Googled it well Felicity is older but just by a year. bit like Simon and Mary.
