Very interesting, especially these quotes:
I guarantee you that. There are a lot of surprises in store, there’s going to be a lot of surprises.
DL: The UK X Factor and the U.S. X Factor are still both due to take place at the same time next Fall. What are you going to do? You can’t be in two places at the same time.
Cowell: You’re going to be surprised by what we’re going to announce. I’ve got a little plan.
I wonder if he'll fly the UK contestants over to the States and film the show in the same studio that'll be used for the US version mid-week?
Oh, and Syco are also planning a new gameshow, and apparently it will be linked with the UK National Lottery...interesting.

Could be. Not sure if I like the idea, though...
And didn't Simon once say after World Idol that he would never want to do something like it again? I realise that included a lot of countries, but still, it's more or less the same format - combining two different versions of one show together.

It won't be a joint version thats too complex. Countries want to see their own talent.
If theyre not on the same days then he can fly back n forth like Len & Bruno do for Strictly.

He tries, even tries to mix us and them together and It'll be the last thing he does.
LOL JK I don't have the power to assassinate Cowell atm, but I-
Wait actually, Us and Them battling it out... could be interesting especially if we win ;)

It’s three times the size of the UK X Factor stage show
This annoys me. Why does he always want to better everything that's been done in the UK in America?

Isn't Fountain Studios [XF & BGT etc] supposedly the biggest television studio in the UK?
I would imagine most studios in America are three times the size of Fountain's, so I doubt there's much he can do...

Not sure, think I read somewhere it is but he does have the money to build a new state of the art studio though, he just chooses not to. :(

Its the biggest TV studio but there are bigger film studios. I've just done a quick google and found the studio they currently use is 10000 square feet but the 2 studios at the George Lucas stage in Elstree (Big Brother in studio 1, Dancing on Ice in studio 2) are both almost 16,000 square feet. X Factor has been rumoured to be moving there before and now with Big Brother gone, I reckon if the production stays in the UK then it will happen next year.
But I hope X Factor does come from America, it will give it a really good sense of event and we can have Cat Deeley on Xtra Factor

The stage is way big enough on the UK one. Too big is just silly when most performers are solo artists. You just get stupid choreographers like Brian feeling the need to fill it with a load of distracting nonsense. And we dont need a bigger crowd either as theyre too noisey enough already!
So America can have a bigger stage show. Ultimately its about the acts anyways.

Some people like Mary and Treyc can fill the stage themselves (no jokes about Marys' weight :joker:). Its all about stage presence
Its better than the stage before it though, that just looked like a corridor with a few screens behind it
Nothing is ever as big as it looks on TV though, I reckon there is a lot of clever lighting and camera use with that stage. I don't think its anywhere near as big as it looks
