Top of the Flops for Davina

It was supposed to bring a Saturday night feeling to Wednesdays, but just 2.7 million viewers tuned in to watch the second Davina McCall show on BBC1 - 800,000 viewers vanishing on its 3.5 million debut.

And that was when she chatted to Pierce Brosnan - former James Bond and a bona fide Hollywood star. Davina couldn't attract viewers with 007, and that doesn't bode well for lesser celebs.

As if to prove the point, the audience fell to a new low of just 2.5 million with guests Eamonn Holmes, Jordan and Girls Aloud; in contrast, ITV's The Bill drew 6.6 million.

The BBC say they will continue with Davina - any bets on whether they'll renew it? We look at more shows that started with a bang before whimpering out...

Yeah well, The Bill is considered staple viewing for some people.
And let's face it, we don't really need any more shows filled with interviews with celebrities. Davina's not got anything special to make it work, either.

I liked her show i havent watched much of it but i totally love Davina! A lot of people havent been enjoying it and apparently it was a huge flop, i dont think it was this bad for everybody to be talking about it the way they do

me neither. i mean youre talking about a show with one of the most fabbest presenters on tv EVER! and every1 doesnt like it and i think well yeah people dont like it but every1 is going on as if its the worst thing theyve ever seen in their lives and i disagree! i mean yeah not everybody is going to like the davina show are they? but its making a lot of publicity and stuff and for that i dont think it was even that bad for that extreme to be honest:bored: i like her!:thumbs:

Its extremely poorly produced.

Davina is let down by the celebrities that are booked.

And Davina doesent have what it takes to make a boring interview interesting. Its just one big plug-a-phon for the celebs.
