View Full Version : Wagner Wagner Carillho's shocking secret tape rant

Wow. Just wow. Alot of truth spoken but coming from him, even though I'm a fan for the lols, someone that cannot sing! There is a tape of him actually saying it on the link. He is there to be funny, yet he wants to be taken seriously with proper songs?! I didn't think he was that kinda guy, just thought he was a kind absent minded wacking Brazilian from the Midlands. but I've gone right off him now

X FACTOR oddball Wagner says the show "stinks" in sensational secret tapes obtained by The Sun.
The eccentric Brazilian claims he is being set up to fail because he is not British.
And he insists boss Simon Cowell will decide who wins, regardless of how the viewers vote.
The bombshell "Wagnergate" allegations will rock Cowell and ITV - already beset by a string of problems in the 2010 series.
Wagner's gripe came in a series of recorded phone calls to a friend.
The 54-year-old - who is tipped for the boot this weekend - wailed: "They will never let me beat the English. They will not let a Brazilian win.
"Nobody tells Simon Cowell what to do. The public do not decide who is going to win. It is Simon Cowell. If he decides Katie will win, she will win. And if he decides a group will win, then they will win."
Long-haired Wagner also accused The X Factor pushing mass-produced acts into the charts.
He said: "Simon Cowell can decide who he wants at number one. It is so double glazing, it is so block paving, it's all sales - it's bull****."
The retired school teaching assistant from Dudley, West Midlands, also moaned that he is not allowed to choose his material to sing.
He claimed he is given "s**t" songs he cannot handle and at short notice to get him voted off.
And he compared his treatment to that of rivals like Mary Byrne and Storm Lee.
Wagner believes they were allowed more exposure than him at bootcamp, singing entire songs while only snippets of his are aired.
Sniping at Mary - who he is rumoured to have tried to romance - he said producers want to make the point that a woman who works on a till at Tesco can be a superstar.
Wagner blasted: "It stinks, I am well p****d off with them. Mary is given full songs and they don't show me ********** singing.
"If you see me in the finals, I will be getting songs overnight that I cannot sing properly. You only sing what you want once or twice and that's it."
Wagner also took a bizarre swipe at judge Louis Walsh. He said: "There is no bread in this place as Louis has shoved a baguette up his a**e."
Coming after the outcry over the dumping of talented Gamu to put Katie Waissel and Cher Lloyd through, the outburst is bound to upset Cowell, 51.

Agreed.. one could almost believe this was entirely set-up to get as much controversial excitement as possible in time for the weekend.
..although I don't think anyone is too 'shocked' is a nutter.

The tape doesn't sound completely like Wagner to me, its almost like a Jamaican, not a Brazilian speaking? There's something not quite right with it for me, but assuming that it really is Wagner??... what an ungrateful person, for someone with so little talent to get a chance like this and to be so ungrateful???
I hope he gets voted out..if he doesn't win, its because he's rubbish not because he's Brazilian..if he were plain English I don't think he'd have even made it this far.

Does Wagner understand that although he is somewhat entertaining - he is not actually a serious competitor to (for example) Mary, Matt, Aiden....
..and Im not mocking Wagner either.. he is a decent amateur and fun entertainer but honestly?

Being on telly has went to Wagners head-he cant sing and was put through as a novelty car-crash act after the sucess of Jedward last year.He should be eternally grateful for that and stop taking himself so seriously-no one else possibly could.Sayin that he's spot on about Cowell and Walsh.

Well people didn't want to believe the bad press about Cher or Katie,so why believe it about Wagner or is it because people don't like him?

I know very well it could be a PR stunt [before someone brings it up], but somehow I doubt it is...

I'm no fan of Wagner but what he says on a private telephone call is his own business tbf, Can one person here tell me that they never ,at some point in their lives complained about their boss/teacher/parents to friends in private?? It's just a bit of venting it's human and natural!!

What is it with these deluded old assholes on the show?
All theyre doing is demonstrating exactly why they havent got far in the business after all these years; arrogance, delusion and a seriously bad attitude.
And if Wagner seriously believes he is any kind of worthy winner then he needs psychological help! He was put in for light relief...a comedy act. Thats all.
And if I went on Brazil Xfactor I'd expect the local acts to be favourites too. Its their country and obviously they would support their own first. Thats who they relate to most. You should be grateful you even got a place on it in the first place. Not that I think prejudice would have anything whatsoever to do with his lack of votes. He's just crap.

It does make sense, he's basically saying that Cowell and the X Factor dictate who will be in a success in the charts because they have such a huge influence now over the music industry. Like last year, all the artists who performed on the results show saw a big boost to their sales, all thanks to their appearance on X Factor.

Look I don't want to be mean, but are you dense?it is quite clear we do not like each other( I have my reasons),so I have asked you NOT to respond to me,and I will do the same to you,so what is it you don't understand about that ?and as a last word to you there was a video on here of Cher saying she wrote some lyrics to a song, which she clearly didn't,but who cares anyway,as you only believe yourself! so toddle off and annoy someone else,I am ignoring you from now on.bye:xyxwave:
I haven't listened to the recording; but reading the quoted article in this thread, it seems to have been written back at the bootcamp/judges houses stage of the competition??

Nothing is hard to 'understand', dear, but since when do I have to listen to you? I'll reply to any post on this forum when I see fit, thanks, especially when I believe the post is stupid and needs questioning.

None of that appeared in the press though, did it? And even if it did, the video was from one of the episodes of the X Factor, so it's not really a video of her 'bullying' anyone or throwing a 'strop' backstage, is it?
Talking of strops, that's a nice one you just threw there. You don't like it when someone challenges your posts, do you? Bless :joker:

No, not that bit. The part where he says 'they put a name in the press and in the charts saying that that is the number one. Then people will buy it because they are told it is the number one'. That's what doesn't make sense in the slightest - he is basically implying that the Official Charts Company make up the #1 each week...

I dont think he is literally saying that though. I took it as him basically saying that because anything to do with the X Factor is shoved into the public eye and on the front page of national newspapers, they can effectively decide what artist will have chart success (to an extent anyway) by publicising their work, having them perform live etc.

Two things to consider:
1. Wagner would not have gone anywhere if this was X-Factor Brazil. What is actually carrying him is his not-typically-British act and persona and culture.
2. Why isn't it a crime and scandal in its own right that someone was secretly recording private conversations without Wagners knowledge? Isn't that against the law to be doing that? It should be.
