I'm having a bit of a My Life Story renaissance after hearing Sparkle on my Last FM account over the weekend. I'd forgotten how good these guys were.

Probably the best bad gig I've ever been to. They couldn't sell enough tickets for the big arena so they had to have it in the pub next door. This was around 96-97. It was tight to say the least. The sound packed up three times during the set so we ended up sharing a couple of spliffs with the band while they threatened to sue the gig organisers for the sound issues. :joker:
